Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams Share Sweet Kiss!

and Gracie Abrams celebrated Hamnet winning Outstanding British Film at the 2026 British Academy Film Awards with a sweet kiss on Sunday night. 

The actor, 30, who portrayed William Shakespeare in the film, attended the ceremony with his girlfriend, 26, at London's Royal Festival Hall.

After announced the film had won, the camera cut to the Hamnet cast and crew and Paul was seen leaning in to give Gracie a kiss. 

The couple have been in a relationship since 2024 but have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight until now. 

Paul earned a Supporting Actor nod for his role in Hamnet but lost out to for One Battle After Another. 

The Normal People star and his girlfriend packed on the PDA as they made their red carpet debut as a couple before the ceremony. 

The singer-songwriter wowed in a backless black patterned dress as she gave the Irish actor a kiss on the cheek before they looked lovingly into each other's eyes.

Paul was also joined at the awards by his Hamnet co-star Jessie Buckley as she cut a glamorous figure in a bright blue velvet dress.

Jessie took home the award for Leading Actress for her role as Shakespeare's wife Agnes Hathaway. 

Jessie, who is already tipped as a favourite to win the Oscar for Best Actress, used her acceptance speech to thank her fellow nominees.

She said: 'This is really such an incredible honour. As a little girl I never thought in a million years I would be allowed to make a film but here I am. 

'When I arrived into my agent Lindy King in London, and I had nuclear bad fake tan on, white hoop earrings, a polka dot red skirt and dress, and I had the audacity to say to her that I dreamed to someday be something like Judi Dench. 

'I don't know how on gods green earth she even dreamed that was possible. This really does belong to the women who have taught me and continue to teach me how to do it differently.'

One Battle After Another earned the most nods with 14, including one for lead star Leonardo DiCaprio
