Oprah Winfrey showed off her trim figure in an all-black ensemble as she attended Sunday’s 66th Grammy Awards from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The media icon, who celebrated her 70th birthday last week, went with the glittering monochromatic outfit after donning a succession of purple-based ensembles the past few months while promoting her film The Color Purple.
The TV icon, who did not walk the red carpet at the musical award show Sunday, was clad in a two-piece black sequined outfit of a button-up top and skirt for the proceedings, rounded out with black heels.
Oprah accessorized with dangling earrings and a ring as she had her hair pulled back into a ponytail for the music industry’s biggest event of the year.
The stalwart television personality was seen pictured next to her longtime confidante Gayle King, as they posed for pictures together and were seen seated at a table.

King, 69, was clad in a glimmering pale green outfit of a jacket and jumpsuit, along with an embroidered kimono from designer Marc Bouwer.
At the event, Oprah was involved in a tribute to the late Tina Turner, and introduced singer Fantasia Barrino (who appeared in The Color Purple remake as Celie), who performed Turner’s Proud Mary.
During the show, Oprah said of Turner, who died at 83 last May, ‘Tina’s voice continues to speak to all of us,’ prior to Barrino and musician Adam Blackstone delivering a spirited rendition of the classic Proud Mary.
Oprah was also seen on the broadcast dancing to music from Miley Cyrus and Karol G.
This year, SZA topped the nominations with a total of nine nods, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song Of The Year. Taylor Swift follows close behind with six nominations, and will also be competing against SZA in the three aforementioned categories.
The majority of Swift’s nominations were for her acclaimed album Midnights and its single Anti-Hero, which earned some of the best reviews of her career.
That track is up for Record of the Year, a category that honors the artists who recorded the song and its producers and engineers, as well as for the Song of the Year category, which honors songwriters. SZA’s track Kill Bill has also been nominated in both categories.
Swift has already made history in the Album of the Year category, currently tied for three previous wins with music legends Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.

Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus are also both up for six awards. Eilish’s nominations include Song and Record of the Year for her hit single from the Barbie soundtrack, What Was I Made For? while Cyrus has the chance to win her first ever Grammy this year with her nominations.
Her track Flowers is up for Record and Song of the Year, while her album Endless Summer Vacation has been nominated for Album of the Year.

In addition to the big names celebrating career achievements, a host of celebrities are set to be presenting at the show.
