Courteney Cox Reveals Scary Items in Her Coat Closet

Courteney Cox decided to spend the days leading up to the 4th of July holiday by going through her little-used coat closet and showing off the crazy items inside.

The 61-year-old actress took to her Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a new video with her 15 million followers, weeks after sharing a glimpse inside her Malibu home.

She began the video by admitting, ‘Living in California, we have very little need for a coat closet. This is what I have in my coat closet.’

Cox admitted, ‘This is for real,’ before showing off the first item, a terrifying item from her beloved Scream franchise: a Ghostface mask popcorn bucket.

‘This Scream mask that is like a popcorn holder. Now what are the chances that you actually are going to serve popcorn,’ she said, opening the top of the bucket.

She admitted, ‘Maybe it’s for Halloween. That actually is a really good idea,’ before moving on to the next bizarre item.

‘What the hell, I have masks of myself!’ Cox added, holding up a few paper masks with her face with a short hair cut showcased.

The Friends star explained, ‘This would be my dog walker. She got masks of myself, and I still have them! OK, weird.’

‘Then I saw this. These are the only coats I have in my closet,’ she said, before turning the camera on two tiny coats for her beloved dogs Lily and Bear.

She grabbed a tiny red coat and held it up to the camera, adding, ‘This little rain gear. You know who this is for? Not a baby, nope, that’s probably Lily’s.’

She grabbed the dark blue coat and said, ‘This is Bear’s, just in case they have to go walking in the rain.’

Cox also grabbed, ‘a scary bag,’ admitting she didn’t know what was in it, but she was, ’embarrassed and nervous about it.’

She then revealed the bag’s contents – a cardboard cutout of herself, as she joked, ‘Look at this, it’s like I’m obsessed with myself, but I’m really not, I swear.’

The actress then showcased a, ‘candle-making craft tool’ from what she captioned, ‘A closet full of treasures.’

She grabbed the dark blue coat and said, ‘This is Bear’s, just in case they have to go walking in the rain.’

She then revealed the bag’s contents – a cardboard cutout of herself, as she joked, ‘Look at this, it’s like I’m obsessed with myself, but I’m really not, I swear.’

‘This closet is making me so anxious, OK, what else do we have… sheets I’m never gonna use,’ before revealing a Friends coffee table book.

‘Make our own candles, that’s what I’ll do all day, then I’ll sell them to you,’ Cox joked to her fans.

‘I do like this Friends book,’ before joking, ‘I do sound like Phoebe Buffay when Lisa wanted to keep her voice like this when she just got over a cold,’ before showing a clip from her hit show.

Cox then pulled a large wicker basket from a shelf, realizing that she had many other smaller wicker baskets within that big basket.

‘There’s baskets inside of baskets. There’s like a basket, with another basket, then there’s other sized baskets and then a bigger basket. Wow, I have problems,’ she said.

She then found a photo album with a photo of her mother, adding, ‘This is actually an important book, I’m glad I found it.’

Cox concluded the video by stating, ‘I know what I’m doing tonight, cleaning out this closet.’
