assured her now-ex  she found Pete Wicks 'repulsive' in an old clip filmed before she and her radio co-host went public with their romance.

The TV presenter, 35, told her former husband Brad, 32, that she and Pete were the 'exception to the rule' about heterosexual men and women being close friends.

Olivia and Pete were pictured looking cosy on a boat day in Ibiza last year when she was still with Bradley, but she insisted at the time that 'nothing had happened'.

Since the end of her marriage to Bradley earlier this year, Olivia began quietly dating her friend Pete, 37, who has now 'hard launched' their romance online.

Following a not-so-gentle nudge from Olivia on her recent podcast episode where she declared she wouldn't be posting him first, Pete took the bold step.

However, before beginning their relationship, Olivia insisted she would never see Pete in that way during a candid chat with her ex.

During an episode of her podcast Olivia's House which was released in August 2024, Bradley featured as a guest star and the former couple answered listeners' dilemmas.

Olivia asked Bradley: 'Should I be mad that my boyfriend texts the same girl every day, he says they are just friends. Oh please, Jesus Christ. I hate this.'

He replied: 'Could you imagine? What would you do?'

Olivia then told him: 'I wouldn't be with you. I'm very sceptical about female/male relationships when they are both straight. I think one side would always let it be more.

Using Pete as an example, she said: 'There's one exception to this rule, me and Pete. Because we both find each other repulsive.

'But at the same time Pete and I are friends but we don't talk every day, like would you like it if I had a male straight friend who I spoke to every day and called at night?'

They then agreed that neither of them would have liked it if they had a friend of the opposite sex who they spoke to every day.

But in a twist of events, Olivia is now publicly in a relationship with Pete.

The couple had done little to quash talk about their romance in recent months, after being spotted packing on the PDA on several different occasions.

Pete proudly shared pictures of them together on his Instagram page on Thursday evening, marking the first time he has ever shared a partner online.

It came just hours after Olivia declared she 'has a person' but wouldn't be making the first move and posting them first on her social media page.

The podcast host revealed that Pete had sent her 100 red roses while she was in a hotel room, but did not mention him by name.

Olivia gushed over her new romance and said once she starts to talk about it publicly 'she won't be able to stop'.

In the clip, she said: 'The other day I got 100 red roses sent to my door and they were banging the door and it was housekeeping. I was going "not today", they kept banging and Mark was in bed and I was telling him to get up and he told me to get up.

'And I opened the door and then felt bad because there was this huge bouquet of red roses and I turned round and went "look what I got", and the first thing Mark said was "what makes you think they're for you!".

'I do have a person. It's the worst kept secret. But also I'm keeping it very close to my chest at the moment while I know what it is. Just in the way that I don't send the first good morning text. I'm not f***ing hard launching anyone first.

'So I'll just be sitting here. I've got roses coming, I've got people grabbing my arse on beaches, but I don't know, make what you want of it.

'I understand the interest, Olivia's House will be the place where I talk about things, when I feel like I know how to put them into words. I'm trying to protect myself a little bit, I'm in a better place. I was in a better place a few days ago when I was in Ibiza.

'Once I'm talking about it I won't be able to stop, so just enjoy the peace and quiet.'

Someone in the background quips: 'Let's hope he stays relevant', referencing the name of Pete's podcast with his pal Sam Thompson.

Appreciating the play on words, Olivia said: 'Ha! Nice!'

Proving he is taking their relationship seriously after Olivia's heavy handed hint, Pete went Instagram official with their romance.

Seemingly confirming their official boyfriend-girlfriend status, the former star shared an array of loved-up snaps from their holiday.

Sending fans wild, Pete confirmed the hard launch as he captioned the post: 'I guess someone has to go first…IBIZA'.

Pete's best friend  was quick to comment as he replied: 'Never thought I’d see the day YOU hard launch!! couldn’t be happier for you brother'.

Rumours of Olivia and Pete's romance began last summer after intimate pictures of the pairon a boat that were captured.

The pair went on a trip with KISS and were seen putting on a flirty and cosy display on a yacht.

It caused uproar at the time as Olivia was still married to - who she split from months later, in January this year.

Addressing the snaps on Olivia's House, a Platform Media original show, Olivia said: 'Okay, let's talk to my listeners about the yacht pictures with Pete.

'Because there is a funny story here. Just as a subtext, okay I was obviously leaning back on [Pete] on the yacht, but nothing happened.'

Pete spoke about their romance for the first time the week before, after the couple enjoyed a holiday together in St Tropez.

The couple were spotted sharing steamy kisses by the pool at the celeb-favourite haunt Nikki Beach club this month.

On a recent episode of his Staying Relevant podcast with best pal , Pete opened up about the Mediterranean getaway for the first time.

Pete's best friend Sam Thompson was quick to comment as he replied: 'Never thought I’d see the day YOU hard launch!! couldn’t be happier for you brother'

The group enjoyed tequila shots during the wild week away

He said: 'It was delightful. Switched off from the world as much as I could.'

Sam couldn't resist bringing up the , which were taken by an onlooker staying at the same resort.

He asked: 'Question, if you don't mind, why I've never been locked in an embrace with you in a pool? I've never been in that position with you before, you looked so comfortable and relaxed.'

Deliberately dodging Sam's question, Pete replied: 'I had a very, very lovely holiday.

Earlier this week Olivia broke her silence on their romance as she confessed that Pete has 'gone soft,' after he sent her a huge bouquet of red roses while she was away in Ibiza.

The revelation came during the latest episode of Pete's podcast Staying Relevant, which saw his co-host interview brothers Ryan, Adam and .

Pete was absent from the show due to his holiday, and Ryan shared that he'd asked Olivia to send him a message offering some insight into the  star, leaving host Sam aghast.

He said: 'I asked my friend, if she had any gossip for me, because I'm going on Staying Relevant, and this friend of mine, you might know her, she's called Olivia Attwood.'

The former Love Island star has confessed that Pete has 'gone soft,' after he sent her a huge bouquet of red roses while she was away in Ibiza

'I said "yes Liv, me and the boys are doing Staying Relevant today, got anything on Pete we can talk about"

'She went "Hi honey, what are you thinking? He sent me a hundred red roses to my set in Ibiza, because he's gone soft."

Olivia previously revealed on Instagram that Pete sent her a bouquet of roses while she was away for a lengthy spell in Ibiza filming her reality show Bad Boyfriends.

At the time she also shared the message Pete had sent her saying he wanted to make her 'feel better,' as she battled a nasty hangover following a night of partying on the island.

Shortly after splitting from Bradley, Olivia accused him of cheating on her multiple times. Despite their huge ITV wedding, they never made their union legally binding.

The television personality admitted on Gogglebox: 'I didn't think my first marriage would be amazing, but I didn't think it would be that bad.

'I've decided now I am going to get married a few times, or engaged, because I like the ring.'

After her split from Bradley, Olivia spoke out about what 'mistruths' are as she claimed Bradley 'lied and cheated' during their relationship, and now she feels like a 'f*****g idiot'.

The television personality also denied trying to trick fans over her fake wedding scandal, and confirmed her new romance with Pete.

Olivia wrote: 'I have stood by Brad for the last ten years during which he lied and cheated on me multiple times. The breakdown of our relationship is because of this.

'I was in love with him and the potential I saw in him and wanted always to help him try to be the best version of himself – as I did for ten years – covering up. Lying to my family and friends. Arranging therapy. Believing the grovelling apologies.

'I of course now feel like a f*****g idiot. (Especially as more things come to the surface) I never wanted to say any of this. I find the whole situation utterly humiliating.'
