North West Shows Bruised Hands After Piercing Removal

Kim Kardashian's daughter North West has revealed her bruised hands after removing her controversial finger 'piercings'.

The 12-year-old, who Kim shares with rapper ex-husband Kanye West, sparked fury earlier this month when she revealed more of her apparent body modifications. 

North had posted a photo of her hands, showing off a mix of pointed and round studs protruding from the backs of her hands, fingers and wrist.

The shocking reveal accompanied North's surprise drop of a new rap song on Friday, which was fittingly titled PIERCING ON MY HAND.

However, in a new snap posted to her official Instagram account, North has revealed she has had the studs removed.

She shared the photograph which showed bruising in place of where the studs once protruded.

Her new single played over the Instagram story. 

Recent months have seen the young star and her mom, 45, come under fire for her outlandish fashion and bold self-expression.

North initially debuted dermal piercings on her fingers in November.

Fans swarmed social media comments to call out the 'high-risk' body art, prompting the youngster to simply reply, 'It's okay,' with a heart-shaped hands emoji. 

And in December, North addressed critics of her finger piercing in a TikTok video. 

She filmed a short video with a soundbite saying: 'Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together.'

Text over the reel noted: 'This is for everyone that's mad over a finger piercing.'

Similarly, in October, she replied to naysayers condemning her temporary face tattoos and blue eye contacts, which she sported with friends days before Halloween.

'This is such a non-issue,' she wrote on TikTok.

Meanwhile, North will soon be carving out her own space in the fashion industry and has her famous mum's full support.

Kim, 45, has already filed three trademark applications for the new line, called 'NOR11', across multiple categories, according to The Sun.

The brand's name, NOR11, appears to be a combination of the first three letters of North's name along with the age she was when she first came up with the line.

One trademark was for clothing and accessories, including dresses, footwear, hats, and stockings.

Another one was for watches and jewellery, such as bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings.

A third trademark was for a variety of bags, including handbags, wallets, and cosmetic cases.
