Nikita Kuzmin nominated himself for eviction in brutal twist during Sunday night’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother.

Fans praised the Strictly Come Dancing professional, 26, for sacrificing himself to save his friends within the house, while others claimed it was a tactical move.

For this week’s shopping task Big Brother transformed the house into Wicked Big Brother’s kingdom which resulted in the shocking killer nomination twist.

The Housemates were forced to follow strict rules and conquer all the quests they were faced with to prove they had a heart, brains and courage.

In the task the two most ‘evil’ Housemates, Louis Walsh and Zeze Millz took reign over the twisted fairytale kingdom.

For the final part of the task, a test of courage, evil step-Big Brother gathered the Housemates at the toadstools and said: ‘Subjects, between yourselves you must now decide which one of you must bravely face the next public vote by receiving a killer nomination.’

‘Evil rulers Louis and Zeze, you do not put your name forward. This game is about courage.’

Nikita insisted that he would be the one to face the public vote in a bid to save his friend Colson Smith.

Fans shared their thoughts on X, with some hailing the dancer’s ‘bravery’ while others claimed he ‘knew what he was doing’ as he wouldn’t be vote out anyway.

‘Petition to save Nikita for his courage and his massive heart of gold,’ one person posted.

Someone else echoed: ‘Nikita has been my winner from the start and the way he just nominated himself tonight just shows what a genuine kind lovely human he is.’

Another added: ‘Nikita is a very courageous human being and putting himself up for the killer nomination.’

Elsewhere, viewers were left unimpressed by yet another ‘stupid twist’ after it was announced by host AJ Odudu on Sunday’s spin-off Late and Live.

The ITV reboot has seen a whole host of surprises, most recently seeing Nikita forced to put himself up for eviction, but fans took to X, formerly Twitter, following the latest with twist declaring: ‘Please make it stop!’.

During Late and Live viewers were shown a clip of Fern Britton as she was called into the diary room on St Patrick’s Day to find a snake with a pot of gold on the diary room chair.

She was then told that which ever housemate’s bed she secretly placed the snake would be up for eviction on Tuesday.

However AJ, who admitted she had no idea of the twist, went on to reveal that Big Brother had lied to the former This Morning host.

Earlier, Fern Britton had been called into the diary room to find a snake with a pot of gold she was told to place the snake in the bed of the person she wished to evict… but it was all a rouse

Telling viewers: ‘What Fern didn’t know is that whichever housemate she selects will actually have the luck of the Irish on their side’.

‘They wouldn’t be evicted, they wouldn’t even face eviction, instead that housemate would be granted full nomination immunity and granted a place in Friday’s final!’.

However viewers will have to wait and see who Fern chooses.
