Nicole Kidmans Daily Ritual for Stronger Family Bond

has shared the way she keeps her bond with her daughters tight even in times of trouble. 

Kidman's teens, , 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, are expected to give their Australian superstar mum a big, long hug every day.   

'I'm like, "You need to hug [me] for two minutes a day",' the actress explained during her appearance at the HISTORYTalks in Philadelphia last week. 

'It releases certain chemicals in the body, and everyone needs to be hugged for about two minutes a day,' Kidman continued. 

She then asked the audience: 'Did you know that?' 

The 58-year-old went on to explain that she and her two youngest children are a tight little gang of three. 

'We're so close, the three of us, we talk about everything,' she said. 

Nicole shares Sunday and Faith with her ex-husband, Australian country singer Keith Urban, 58. 

The Bewitched star recently shared the tough-love advice she gave her daughters.

The movie star made the comments while at the University Of San Francisco during the college's Silk Speaker Series.

'I told them that the decisions you're making now will affect your life, but also things will change as nothing is set in stone,' said the Oscar winner at the event attended by The Daily Mail.

'And primarily trying to create emotional stability is important for them so that they can feel like the world is your oyster,' noted the actress who finalized her divorce from Urban in January.

She finished with, 'I told them you're going to have an incredible future, but it can be incredibly overwhelming.'
