Nick Viall took some time away from his newborn baby on Wednesday in order to publicly troll his former flame Kaitlyn Bristowe – nine years after the pair dated.
Kaitlyn had just recalled the time she lost her sex drive so severely ‘at the end’ of a relationship with an unnamed man that she ‘thought she was asexual.’
‘I literally thought I was asexual [at] the end of the relationship. I was like, “I think at this point I could see myself more with a woman” — I actually thought that — “than a man. I get it. Like, I think women are hot. I could do that,”‘ the 38-year-old Bachelorette #11 confessed on Tuesday’s episode of her Off the Vine podcast.
‘I was fine with it but then once I started, like, going on a couple dates, I was like “Oh!”…I had that urge to, like, I would like to hook up. I would like his P in the the V. Yeah and I thought that I was really proud of myself for that because I was like, “Okay, I’m not the desert down there.”‘
Many listeners believed Bristowe was referring to her most recent relationship with ex-fiancé Jason Tartick, whom she amicably split from on August 6 after five years of dating.

So when the 35-year-old Bachelorette #14 alum shared a six-pack-filled throwback summer snap of himself with The Bachelorette #15 contestant Tyler Cameron, Nick could not stop himself from commenting.
‘Nothing asexual about this,’ the 43-year-old Bachelor #21 wrote.
Many Instagram users found Viall’s comment amusing while one was offended by him shaming asexuality and another thought he should behave better now that he’s a first-time father.
The Special Forces contestant is currently in full-on doting daddy mode with his ‘perfect’ six-day-old daughter River Rose Viall.
Nick’s babymama and fiancée – surgical technologist Natalie Joy – is 18 years younger than him.
Last June, Kaitlyn claimed she was the opposite of asexual – bisexual – on the Out & About podcast and revealed how a psychologist employed by ABC warned her not to disclose it on season 19 of The Bachelor.
‘I had to sit with her for three hours,’ Bristowe – who was eliminated after week nine – told hosts Pat McAuliffe and Joey Camasta.
‘They go through a whole [questionnaire] and then she was like, “Don’t tell them you’re into women, they might spin it.” But then she got fired because I think she was too much on [the contestants’] side, for like our mental health.’

Bachelor Nation fans are some of the most passionate and devoted, despite the horrible track record for couples remaining together on the various shows.
Out of the 27 prior seasons of The Bachelor, only three couples are still together – Sean & Catherine Lowe, Matt James & Rachael Kirkconnell, and Zach Shallcross & Kaity Biggar.
Out of 20 seasons of The Bachelorette, five couples remain together – most notably Ryan and Trista Sutter, who share three children.
Surprisingly, Bachelor in Paradise is the most successful franchise with 10 couples remaining together after nine seasons.
