DJ Bliss has revealed whether he’ll return to the hit reality series Dubai Bling.

The Emirati DJ, whose real name is Kamil Aziz, has been a fan favourite on the glitzy Netflix show, offering an inside look into Dubai’s elite social circles.

However, speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Friday, the 43-year-old hinted his time on the series might be coming to an end.

‘We had a three-season deal with Dubai Bling, and we just finished the third season,’ DJ Bliss revealed.

‘I think for me, this is where I kind of draw the line. I want to go in a different direction, and I want to focus on my music.’

The reality TV star admitted filming such an intense show took a toll on him.

DJ Bliss, 43, whose real name is Kamil Aziz, has revealed whether he’ll return to the hit reality series Dubai Bling

‘A show like that really takes a lot of your time, a lot of your energy,’ he explained.

‘It can take its toll on your mental health and your daily life. I want to put all that energy into something good, something positive, and something that can really impact people’s lives, and I think music is the answer.’

Now, DJ Bliss is turning his attention to his highly anticipated Australian concert series.

With stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, he promises an unforgettable experience blending house music with international influences.

‘It’s a new sound that I’ve been working on,’ he said.

‘I’m transitioning into house music but still adding elements of international sounds because that’s who I am. That’s a representation of Dubai—it’s like a duty-free of the world, a mix of so many cultures.’

The globetrotting DJ has rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Drake, Beyoncé, Swedish House Mafia, and 50 Cent.

While those encounters have shaped his career, he’s now laser-focused on making music that truly represents him.

‘I want people to feel the influences in my music,’ he explained.

‘Music is ever-changing, and we’re at a place now where it’s hard to define a genre because so many styles cross over. I love everything—’80s alternative rock, ’90s R&B and hip-hop, current dance music, house—it all finds a way into my sets.’

Despite his departure from reality TV, DJ Bliss hasn’t ruled out all on-screen opportunities—just ones that don’t allow him to control his own narrative.

His Dubai Bling experience, including his long-standing feud with his Aussie co-star Kris Fade, has taught him the challenges of the reality format.

‘I’m not used to not controlling the narrative or the edit of the show,’ he admitted.

‘I’d rather a story be told about me that reflects who I am, and that I can actively be involved in how I’m portrayed.’

As for whether he’ll ever reconcile with Kris Fade, DJ Bliss remains open but realistic.

‘It’s been a 10-year back-and-forth,’ he said.

He added: ‘People don’t realise how deep it goes. I went on Dubai Bling wanting to have an open conversation, but he ran away from it. I was ready to talk, but it didn’t happen.’

For now, his focus remains firmly on music.

‘I believe that whatever you put 100 per cent into will give you 100 per cent back,’ he said.

‘So I’m stepping back from some of my businesses, letting other people take over, and putting everything into music.’

And as for how he’ll infuse a touch of Dubai’s glamour into his Australian performances? ‘I don’t prepare my sets in advance—I go with the vibe of the crowd,’ he said.

‘But I do know there’s a big Arab community in Australia, especially Lebanese. I want to give my sets an Arabian touch and make it an experience they won’t forget.’

DJ Bliss will perform a sold out show at Zaffi Sydney on February 28 and again on March 6, as well as Bayti Presents World Sounds at Machine Hall on March 1.
