glammed up to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during Sunday's Juno Awards - five months after announcing she was retiring from live performance for the 'foreseeable future.'

The 47-year-old pop star went strapless in a red and black-patterned gown featuring a corseted back and a billowy pannier beneath, which was created by Indigenous designer Lesley Hampton.

Furtado - who relies on stylist Marc Andrew Smith - accessorized her dramatic dress with Alexis Bittar jewelry and unseen Gianvito Rossi heels as she posed on the orange carpet of the TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario.

Hairstylist Kelly Araujo coiffed the winner's middle-parted bob for the CBC-broadcast awards show.

Make-up artist Susana Hong fully contoured Furtado's complexion and brought out her striking blue eyes with shimmery shadow and defined brows.

The Seven songstress wound up losing the pop album of the year trophy to Tate McRae's So Close to What, but she delivered a rousing speech for her CMHF induction.

'I'm literally a product of the Canadian dream. Canada's always cared about art. Canada's always cared about culture. I'm a product of that,' Furtado said onstage.

'I'm just really proud to be Canadian. I live in Canada. I make my music in Canada. And I work with Canadian musicians, songwriters and producers because I totally believe in the Canadian dream. Please believe in it, too.'

Canadian rapper-singer Drake resurfaced, virtually, to honor the Victoria-born belter: 'I'm here tonight to pay my respects to one of my favorite human beings and one of my favorite artists of all time, Ms. Nelly Furtado.
