's business-themed reality show, On Brand With Jimmy Fallon, has been canceled by NBC amid poor ratings.

The Tonight Show host, 51, createdm hosted and executive produced the program, in which he headed up the On Brand Agency, a marketing firm.

Fallon sought to populate the firm with 'the most creative, clever and competitive go-getters he can find,' according to a logline from the network.

Fallon was seen on the show with The alum Bozoma Saint John.

Saint John, 49, who has held executive positions at companies such as , Pepsi and , assisted Fallon on the show in positioning '10 creatives to think out of the box and reimagine marketing in the modern age.'

Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Fallon and NBC for further comment on the story.

On the series, Saint John, in the capacity of the agency's Chief Marketing Officer, advised the contestants and gave them constructive criticism about their work.

The late night host, speaking on a panel Savannah Guthrie conducted, said his show provided a unique opportunity for the corporations to sell themselves.

'It’s so beyond product placement,' the comic explained. 'We’re giving you 40 minutes as opposed to a 30-second spot. I’m talking about your brand for a whole hour.'

Fallon continues to have other shows running on the network, such as Password, which has been renewed for a third season; and including a Wordle adaptation Savannah Guthrie is slated to host.

'This is very exciting,' Fallon said on the Today show Monday. 'We’ve been developing Wordle as a game show for the past two-and-a-half years with The New York Times, and it’s official - we are making Wordle Game Show with our host, Savannah Guthrie!'

It was not immediately clear how the series would be impacted amid the dire situation swirling around Guthrie, whose mother has been missing for more than three months, as authorities in Arizona continue to probe her disappearance.
