Nagi Maehashi has announced the death of her beloved dog, Dozer.
The chef, who is the force behind RecipeTin Eats,
'He didn't make it. My heart is shattered,' the 47-year-old wrote alongside a Reel featuring photos of her beloved pooch.
'Dozer Maehashi. 26 April 2012 - 5 February 2026,' she added, giving the date of Dozer's birth and death.
The heartbreaking post was met with an outpouring of condolences and support.
'Oh Nagi, I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace and may you find strength in this impossible time. Sending you love and light,' wrote food blogger Sneh Roy.

Chef Nick Makrides commented: 'So sorry to hear that Nagi. It's such a heavy loss. To suddenly be in the space he was in without him there. It's so hard.
'Give yourself space to grieve and be sad as much as your body needs it. Hopefully in time you can remember him with less pain and more happiness.'
'Hearts are broken all around Australia with this news. I'm so sorry Nagi, he will always be incredibly loved,' said blogger Annie Nguyen.
'Oh Nagi, I am so so sorry for this tremendous loss. Dozer will live forever in our hearts!' wrote chef Danielle Alvarez.

The announcement came just days after the relatively private food writer and cook revealed that Dozer was critically ill following weeks in intensive care.
In a raw blog post, Maehashi explained that Dozer, who had long been a central presence on RecipeTin Eats, was hospitalised with a severe double lung infection.
'I've cried a thousand tears and there's a million more to come,' she wrote.
Dozer, who was almost 14 years old and had other underlying health conditions, was admitted to SASH with .
