star and philanthropist Ms. Rachel made a bold statement at the 4th Annual Children’s & Family Awards in on Monday night.

The internet sensation, 43, wore a stunning gown embroidered with the words of Sudanese children's hopes and dreams, in a nod to her advocacy for youths in Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The vintage dress featured a black halterneck while the full pink silk skirt was adorned with intricate embroidery of the words, while she also clutched a piece of paper with the pictures and stories of the children on her gown. 

She hit the red carpet with her husband Mr. Aron, real name Aron Accurso, who looked smart in a tux alongside his wife, real name Rachel Griffin-Accurso. 

At the ceremony, she was nominated for Outstanding Preschool, Children’s or Family Viewing Series and Outstanding Writing for a Preschool or Children’s Series.

The bold sartorial statement comes after she wore a gown embroidered with artwork created by children in Gaza at November's Glamour Women of the Year Awards. 

Taking to Instagram, Ms. Rachel shared details of her cause and the dress, writing: 'I was so honored to carry the pictures and stories of 11 precious kids from Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo with me to the Children’s Emmys. 

'Their powerful words were embroidered into my dress and I told everyone about them and how we need to help in every way possible. To the kids - we see you, we care about you, we love you, we stand with you..

Ms. Rachel has been extremely vocal in her advocacy for children in wartorn countries, with her actisim surrounding Gaza frequently hitting headlines. 

In July, she made a statement towards stars over their silence on Gaza. She said: 'Celebrities - You won’t get canceled for saying people in Gaza should not be starved to death. We will remember your silence. And that you chose it over people’s lives.'

She revealed the dress was a repurposed vintage number

The couple's night on the town comes after Ms. Rachel shared a heartfelt tribute to her husband and co-creator, in a rare insight into their relationship.

In September, the former teacher, wrote a sweet message to her husband, who she married in 2016, in which she detailed his best qualities and the work he puts into the channel that has taken the parenting world by storm.

Ms Rachel, set up the educational channel in 2019 with Broadway producer Mr Aron, after their son, eight, suffered a speech delay and they struggled to find online resources to assist.

In her heartwarming tribute to Mr Aron, who she met at a Unitarian Universalism in 2010, she wrote: 'There's no Ms Rachel without Mr Aron...

'Some people just think he does the music and composing but we are partners in everything and he's the other half of everything Ms Rachel...

'Writing, editing, creating - and the really special thing about Aron is when I taught public school music and needed a track for the kids to sing with, he put that same excellence and work into that as he does into the show...

'Because he wants to help the world like I do in small ways and in every way we can. Because he loves me. And I love him to the moon and back!..

She also showed  images of the children whose words were featured on her dress

'Ps he's also herbie and bean and Frankie... Ps he's also the best dad! Growing up without a present dad it's so special to see my kids have a dad that would do anything for them and wants to be at everything. Go, Mr Aron!'

Alongside the caption, the star, known for her uniform of dungarees, a pink T-shirt and hairband, gazed adoringly at her husband.

Back in April, the couple revealed they had welcomed their second child. Ms Rachel took to Instagram to announce the arrival of 'sweet baby Susannah' via a surrogate as medical reasons meant she was unable to carry her baby.

The announcement came weeks after she revealed that 'family issues' were the reason behind a mysterious two-month-long absence from the platform.

The content she produces aims to help her young audience with pronunciation and language skills via her Songs For Littles YouTube page.

They started the viral channel when Thomas was diagnosed with a speech delay. She explained to NBC News: 'His first word was at two years and eight months and it was 'mama' and I had waited for that for so long...

'As a parent you want to do anything you can to help them and it's not our fault when our child has a speech delay. A lot of things I teach are things I wish I had known for my son.'
