has sparked fury among parents once again after detailing her thoughts on using Calpol and how she opposes the children's medicine.

The Love Island star, 30, who is mother to Jude, three, and Miley, 18 months, with fiancé, Mark O'Connor, has become synonymous with 'rage-baiting' with her stance on parenting - due to her firm opposition to screens and diets.

Last week, the star posted a video in which she was asked her opinion on using Calpol when a child has a temperature, to which she said she does not use the medicine as she claimed it counteracts the body's reaction to a virus.

Many of Montana's followers pointed out Calpol is used to relieve discomfort as well as help in reducing the fever, which can put children at risk of febrile seizures, thus illustrating the importance of Calpol and similar paracetemol-based medicines.

She was accused of 'spreading dangerous misinformation' when she said she would take her child to A&E rather than give Calpol, and relayed how she gave her son Jude 'homemade soup and homeopathic tinctures' when his temperature hit 40 degrees.

The Love Island star, 30, who is mother to Jude, three, and Miley, 18 months, with fiancé, Mark O'Connor, has become synonymous with 'rage-baiting' with her stance on parenting - due to her firm opposition to screens and diets (Montana with her son Jude)

Montana explained that she opted to give her son 'homeopathic tinctures'. Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts - typically an extract of plant or animal material dissolved in ethanol and used for medical purposes.

Speaking to the camera in the video, she said: 'Hey guys, a lot of you asking me my opinions on Calpol. So I personally don't like Calpol. I don't use it with my kids...

'My reason being is that all of the research and stuff that I've read is that obviously a temperature is an immune response to a virus being in the body. And that is the only way that the body can then stop the virus from multiplying...

'So it's obviously got a very legit reason why the body's doing that. When Jude had his temperature, I think he, I think it was like 40 degrees and it obviously that's a really high temperature.

'And if he was like floppy in and out of consciousness and I felt that he was like, it was, he was seriously ill, I would have taken him to A&E straight away. So don't think I'm a negligent parent because I'm not. But he was still eating...

'I fed him a homemade soup, I gave him some homeopathic tinctures, I put him to bed. I was so anxious putting him to bed because I was worried he was gonna get worse. He woke up, no temperature...

'It was wild. But with Calpol, the issue I have is that I feel like people use it when they have, when their kids have a temperature, which I completely understand, but then you're not letting your body actually kill the viruses...

'So then it multiplies and normally they then end up getting worse rather than better. So I prefer to use kind of like homeopathic remedies should they get ill, but they don't really get ill very often...

'But to be honest, the first time he had that temperature, I was really tempted to use it and I, I would have used Calpolif in different circumstances maybe because I think I was a lot more kind of anxious about that kind of stuff then being a first time parent.

'But now I feel pretty confident about using the homeopathic tinctures and they work really, really well.'

Many followers pointed out that A&E professionals would recomend using Calpol for the fever, with users writing: 'Take him to a&e?...

'They would of suggested calpol/paracetamol. You would have taken him to A&E who would have immediately given him calpol? The first thing they would do at a&e for a child with a temperature of 40 is give them Calpol...

'A&E would have given him calpol what on earth are you doing saying all of this when you have a platform. High temperatures are so dangerous for young children...

'Theyd give him calpol at a&e and probably be horrified you didnt do it sooner..what is honestly wrong with you lol.'

Pointing out her reference to 'not letting your body actually kill the viruses', followers replied: 'Please check your research and if it is accredited...

'Because Calpol doesn’t prevent your body from ‘killing viruses’ it simply helps ease the symptoms such as high temp, inflammation and pain in children when experiencing a fever / illness...

The video was met with outrage from followers

'Viruses are mostly taken care of by the immune system regardless!! Calpol is to make the children more comfortable. Please do not spread scientific / medical misinformation...

'Calpol doesnt stop the virus working it just bring the temp down and makes a child feel more comfortable the same way we do with paracetamol you just mum shame constantly indirectly to get away with it'.

Concerned users wrote: 'It’s actually just dangerous misinformation at this point...

'This is absolutely mind blowing. Do not use you platform to spread information like this. This is so dangerous. I can’t believe what I am hearing...

'This is unbelievably dangerous. Disgraceful'

Her stance on the medicine, is the latest in her long line of divisive stances on parenting. In March she sparked fury over her comments about school food.

Her post saw the star slam schools for 'serving sticky toffee pudding every day' and alleged children were also given biscuits at break time, thus normalising the exposure to 'addictive' sugar and ultra processed foods.

Montana has frequently shared outrageous comments online, including blasting parents for using pre-made food pouches alongside her screen time comments

Much like her previous videos about parenting, the reaction was furious with followers claiming she is 'demonising' sugar while many others flagged that for children living in poverty the food could be their 'only hot meal of the day'.

joined the outcry, insisting her five-year-old son receives balanced meals at school, while Professor Green was defensive of , claiming she was being 'unnecessarily punished' for her 'light-hearted remark'.

Montana has frequently shared outrageous comments online, including blasting parents for using pre-made food pouches alongside her screen time comments.

Her latest remarks - this time surrounding school meals saw her say to the camera: 'Why do children need desserts every day at school? Like why do they need a sticky toffee pudding every day?...

'That would be strange if you went to work and one of your colleagues was like tucking into a sticky toffee pudding and like custard every lunch. You'd be like, bit excessive. So why do we do it for kids?...

'I'm deadset this is why all of us have weight issues as It's so difficult to kind of wean yourself off like the sugar and all of this crap because at school it was just the norm...

'You’d have pudding after pudding after pudding and I am a firm believer that just kids shouldn’t have pudding. They should have yogurt and fruit and if they're still hungry they should be having extra protein...

'And I know you guys hate it when I talk about this but this is genuinely how I feel. I’m not even rage baiting.'

When asked why doesn't she provide a packed lunch, she replied: 'I couldn’t but then he is the packed lunch kid', with a laughing emoji.
