Mica Harriss Shocking Celebrity Aunt Revealed!

Love Island viewers have been left stunned after discovering that Mica Harris has a world-famous aunt - who happens to know . 

The student, 21, has been living in London but actually hails from the sun-soaked island of Barbados.

And back in the Caribbean, it turns out that she has actually been rubbing shoulders with the stars long before entering the villa - thanks to her aunt Mia Amor Mottley, the island's Prime Minister. 

The politician made history as the first woman to hold the position since the nation gained independence from Britain in 1966, and has since gained the support of some of Barbados' most famous figures. Namely, pop icon Rihanna. 

Before she entered the Love Island villa earlier this week, Mica revealed that she was actually introduced to the We Found Love hitmaker, 38, during a surprise visit to her home.

She told reporters: 'She was staying two houses down from my grandparents and my aunt was taking me to see them. 

'But then we turned up outside this house I didn't recognise and Auntie Mia said, "surprise, you're meeting Rihanna". 

'She's the loveliest person. She really is the people's princess and it's lovely when she comes to Barbados because she goes full Bajan.'

The islander - who also met media mogul Simon Cowell through her relative - describes Miss Mottley as an 'inspiration'. 

Mica added: 'She's so graceful and how she will literally talk to anyone. The way she carries herself as well, I've definitely seen and taken inspiration from that. 

'My family is full of very strong women and I'm very lucky and blessed to have been raised around these types of women. 

'It's definitely moulded the way I go about my life entirely - including dating. I have very high standards.' 

Mica's link to the political figure left fans shocked, with many reacting to the news on X. 

One wrote: 'Mica's aunt is the Prime Minister of Barbados. She looks so much like Shine Rosman.'

Another quipped: 'Mica!! her aunt is the prime minister of barbados.'

Before a final fan posted: 'Mica is Rich Rich uptown Barbados.'  

After entering the villa on day one, Mica coupled up with model Samraj Toor, though fans feared she could be left hurt after sparks flew between him and Jasmine Muller. 

But in a dramatic turn of events during Wednesday's episode, Samraj was dumped from the island alongside Ellie Chadwick after the pair were picked by George Chadwick and Yasmin Hadlow. 

Yet, in tonight's episode, it transpired that Ellie and Samraj had actually secretly been led to the hideaway ready for dates with new bombshells Kavan and Priya.  

Kavan, it turned out, is actually OG islander Aidan's younger brother. 

Later, as the quartet arrived back to the villa, the islanders were left in utter shock at the savage twist.  

'Oh my god, no way my brother's here', Aidan shouted across the villa in complete shock as he saw Kavan.

'I have no words, my brother [walked in] and then obviously Ellie behind as well. I'm speechless', he added.

Viewers at home were left in hysterics as they watched the drama unfold and thanked Love Island producers for 'bringing the tea' this season.
