The iconic duo grace the cover of Vogue's May issue in a shoot done by Annie Leibovitz and interview conducted by . 

Wintour, the  of the glossy, is famously the muse behind Streep's icy The Devil Wears Prada character Miranda Priestly. 

The women, both 76, candidly discussed 'power-dressing, longevity, and the perspective of age' in the magazine profile.

Styled by Grace Coddington, Streep and Wintour were fittingly dressed in Prada.

The actress modeled a navy blue power suit teamed with a button-up ivory shirt and pointed-toe black heels.

Wintour, the former editor-in-chief of the glossy, is famously the muse behind Streep's icy The Devil Wears Prada character Miranda Priestly 

Meanwhile, the media executive wore a bright red dress with black and beaded accents, and a long pleated skirt.

The stars also coordinated in sleek black sunglasses throughout the photo spread.

Ahead of the upcoming The Devil Wears Prada sequel, which the article refers to as DWP2, Wintour shared, 'What I liked about the first film is that it showed the world what a huge business fashion is.

The Devil Wears Prada film is based on the novel by former Vogue intern Lauren Weisberger.

She described her time working with the fashion pillar as 'crazy.' 

While in the position for less than a year, her time at the publication inspired the hit movie, with Wintour serving as inspiration for the boss of the fictional magazine Runway.

Weisberger appeared on the Today show in 2021, telling host Jenna Bush Hager that her former role at Vogue was a 'crazy entrance into the working world of New York City.'

'...And it was wild. Wild,' she added at the time.

The best-selling novel encapsulated Wintour's biting attitude, while zooming in on Weisberger's time at the fashion bible. 

The author revealed she spent her days at the office 'faxing, filing, getting coffee, and basically keeping Anna’s life running as smoothly as possible.'
