And Melissa George has been spotted enjoying lunch with one of the luxury fashion world's most influential – yet least publicly known – executives. 

Posting to Instagram on Tuesday, the Australian actress, 49, reshared a photo of herself enjoying a drink with Michael Coste, head of client relations at Hermès in Paris, to celebrate his birthday. 

The pair were joined by Melissa's agent Jason Spire, of Inspire Entertainment. 

Michael, who joined the iconic French brand two decades ago, has cultivated a reputation as the ultimate luxury fixer, earning the nickname the 'VIP whisperer' among elite clients and fashion insiders.

Known for his encyclopedic knowledge of his clients' personal tastes and preferences, Coste is said to anticipate what high-profile shoppers want before they even ask for it.

He played a major role in developing Hermès' ultra-exclusive VIP experience, with a focus on privacy, impeccable service and highly personalised appointments.

His Instagram account also offers a rare glimpse into the ultra-exclusive circles in which he moves. 

Among the famous faces photographed alongside the well-connected luxury king are Kris Jenner, Sofía Vergara and Lisa Rinna.

Perth-born Melissa has also long been friends with Michael, popping up in numerous cosy Instagram photos alongside him over the years. 

She also has a close business relationship with Hermès, regularly attending VIP events and fashion shows for the brand. 

Last year, Michael even gifted Melissa's infant son Lyor Gatsby a Hermès onesie worth $1,690.

The Home and Away veteran welcomed her third child Lyor in March, 2024 at age 47.

At the time, she shared a black and white photo of the baby boy's feet to Instagram.
