Record label owner and DJ John Course is selling his delightful Melbourne cottage.

The well-known music industry identity has listed the two-bedroom, one-bathroom weatherboard with a price guide of $890,000 – $960,000.

Located in Yarraville, 10kms from the CBD, the beautifully renovated pad combines modern chic with Edwardian-era charm.

Course and his wife Kelly purchased the single-storey home over three years ago and splashed out an extensive renovations, which included a ‘DJ room’, reports the Herald Sun.

Built around 1910, the cottage features a period frontage and a charming picket fence.

Construction on the home completely brought the living spaces up-to-date, with the couple adding an open-plan design and new kitchen.

Course also had the home repainted and replastered.

Meanwhile, the kitchen and dining area opens out into large covered courtyard, which hosts an entertainment area.

Father-of-two Course said he eventually gave up the ‘DJ room’ and turned it into a children’s bedroom.

Course is the co-founder of the Vicious record label and has been a headline performer at dance parties such as Ministry of Sound and Summerdayze.

His record label is home to performers such as Madison Avenue, Peking and Duk and Rogue Traders.
