As a global pop sensation, Meghan Trainor is no stranger to reading less-than-favourable headlines about herself.
But the All About That Bass hitmaker, 30, has admitted there is one story she still hates seeing in the media.
Speaking to Brittany Hockley, Laura Byrne and Mitch Churi on KIIS FM’s The Pick Up, Megan said she regrets previously discussing her difficult sexual encounters with husband Daryl Sabara.
Back in April 2023, Megan famously told the Workin’ On It podcast that she wished Spy Kids actor Daryl’s penis was smaller, as sex with him was ‘painful’.
The mother-off-two, who shares sons Riley, three, and Barry, 10 months, with Daryl, also described being unable to walk after intercourse.

After consulting with her doctor, the songwriter was diagnosed with vaginismus – defined as involuntary tensing of the vagina.
During her interview with The Pick Up, Meghan confessed: ‘The one thing I’m like, “Please stop writing articles about that” is when I talked about sexy time with my husband and that I would be uncomfortable afterwards.’
‘I said he’s a big boy and I keep seeing “Meghan walks weird after [intercourse] because her husband’s a big boy” and I’m like, “Please stop writing that article”, she admitted.

The American hitmaker also spoke about her struggles with vaginismus, saying that her vagina ‘felt like glass’ and was ‘all bright red’ during the medical ordeal.
‘I had to put on testosterone cream. It’s a whole nightmare. Nobody talks about it. But every girl suffers from this,’ she lamented.
Elsewhere in the interview, Meghan broke her silence on rumours she will be replacing Katy Perry as a judge on American Idol.

The Me Too singer admitted that being a judge on the popular talent show is her ‘dying wish’, declaring: ‘I just love that show so much.’
Meghan of course has had plenty of practice in the franchise, having served as a judge on Australian Idol in 2023.
‘I have done so many other shows like it, like Australian Idol, and I know what I’m doing. I was [on the set of American Idol] recently as a mentor, and I was on set, it was just too cool for me,’ she said.
‘And I got really attached to these adorable superstars that are so talented. And then I performed on the show, and I was like, “I belong here.” And I know Katy [Perry] is about to leave the show and do probably just like a break and I will fill in, you know what I’m saying?’
