She’s known for dazzling displays presenting Love Island and sensational shoots for a range of brands.

But Maya Jamaย was recently stitched up by Instagram as she attempted to promote her latest fashion campaign in a saga which made her lose her head…literally.ย 

The presenter, 30, sent fans wild by cosying up to Italian hunk Michele Morrone, 34, in behind-the-scenes peeks of her glam Dolce & Gabbana perfume advert.ย 

She has now been thwarted, however, by Instagram’s system which caused her and Michele’s heads to be chopped off in the promotional picture when she shared it to her followers.

All that could be seen was Maya’s figure-hugging dress from the neck down and her actor friend’s white linen shirt and black trousers.ย 

Fuming, she captioned a story demonstrating the glitch: ‘This is why me and insta beef WHY ARE OUR HEADS CHOPPED OFFFF smh’ย

The Masked Singer star’s frustrations came just hours before Instagram went down for users worldwide.ย 

The outage hit the Meta-owned social media service at around 3pm, taking down the app.

It is unknown how many people have been impacted, but Instagram reports it has more than two billion monthly active users worldwide.

The headless shots of Maya and Michele were a world away from the incredible behind-the-scenes snaps of the Dolce & Gabbana shoot which the Love Island presenter shared with her followers on Thursday.

Maya looked nothing short of sensational as she flaunted her stunning figure in a floral figure-hugging-dress and black lace veil during the campaign in Palermo, Italy.

She cosied up to her co-star Michele, who looked typically dashing in a white open-collared shirt, smart trousers and neckerchief.

Maya shared footage from the sun-soaked set, showing the cameras following her movements as she strutted across a stunning town square.

Another scene saw Michele leading Maya by the hand through busy village streets, with the pair showing a natural and sizzling chemistry.

And the raciest snap yet saw the Love Island host and the Italian hunk embracing, with their heads cut out of the shot.

While other snaps saw Maya posing with a number of other actresses of all different ages, all dressed in identical outfits to herself.

Showing her quick-witted sense of humour, one clip saw her surrounded by her ‘lookalikes’ and quipping: ‘Me and the girlies, off to brunch!’

Captioning the post, the star – who was unveiled as the face of the brand last year – gushed: ‘BTS from the global Dolce & Gabbana menโ€™s perfume advert, out now. A pinch me moment’.

Believed to be worth thousands, the Dolce & Gabbana deal has catapulted the Bristol-born beauty to the forefront of fashion.
