Max George took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday to share a health update with fans, hours after revealing he had been rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night.

The Wanted star, 37, was fitted with a pacemaker in December 2024 after his mother Babs noticed he had 'turned blue' and insisted he go to A&E.

He later underwent a second procedure to fix a misplaced wire and has since kept followers updated on his regular hospital visits. 

On Tuesday morning, Max revealed he had been rushed to Accident and Emergency in the middle of the night as he shared a photo of himself with a cannula in his arm. 

Now, several hours later, the singer has posted another update from his hospital bed, admitting he has 'no idea' what is going on.

In a video clip, he said: 'What's happening guys? Just having a load more tests now. Got a bed though, which is nice. Been here pretty much all night, so absolutely knackered.

'They've given me a little bed in the side room, which is cool. No idea what's going on, what's happened or why it happened, but that's why I'm here so hopefully I'll know a little bit more. But yeah, I've had better days.'   

It comes hours after Max shared a photo of himself sitting in a chair at A&E as he told fans: 'What now f**... This sh** ALWAYS happens in the middle of the night. Poor Albert [dog emoji].'

In a second picture, Max shared a selfie with his face looking bright red as he was covered by a towel, captioned: 'Running HOT.' 

His latest hospital visit comes just weeks after he was forced to return to the hospital for a scan.

Posting on his Stories, the musician shared a clip of himself waiting outside an X-ray area in a hospital.

He captioned the upload: 'Another scan...' and then followed it up with an update on his visit.

Walking through the corridors, he said: 'So I'm just at the hospital in the building where I had all my heart surgeries done.

'I've just had a scan done on my chest because I've had a bit of an issue with one of my lungs, apparently,' he went on.

'Should be fine. It's just a precaution, but yeah. Back in my old second home.'

He signed off with a thumbs-up and a good weekend wish to his followers.

Speaking about how he is getting on following his health scare, Maisie told The Sun: 'He still has hard days and better days, but he's definitely getting stronger again and it's nice to see him performing.'

She added: 'So yeah, he's doing well. 

'No one knew what was going to happen this time last year, so it's really nice to see him doing what he was born to do.'

Maisie said she went to watch her boyfriend perform in New York, which she described as 'a nice feeling to see him do that after the year he's had.'
