On Tuesday’s episode of Masked Singer Australia, Snow Fox won the grand finale, while the runner-up was Grim Reaper.
Snow Fox was unmasked as X Factor and Eurovision star Dami Im while inside the Grim Reaper costume was revealed to be Darren Hayes.
And many fans online were less than pleased with the result, with many feeling the Savage Garden singer, who is an internationally successful pop superstar with number one hits around the world, should have won.
Posting to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person wrote: ‘Darren Hayes was better…’
Another viewer watching at home insisted: ‘Darren Hayes was ROBBED robbed I tell ya’.

‘Nah Darren was robbed’ agreed someone else with one more writing, ‘Darren Hayes should’ve won’.
Someone else said: ‘How Grim Reaper/Darren Hayes didn’t win? Wow. On that performance alone… he should of’.
‘Dami’s great but Darren was robbed’ one more wrote with another saying, ‘This show is rigged Grim Reaper should have won.’
One upset mum wrote: ‘#darrenhayes should have won the #MaskedSingerAU Love his voice, the tone, quality and the emotion few convey as well.

‘It wasn’t only me who wanted him to win I have a devastated 6yo who is sobbing and also says she’s sad for you.’
‘I’m sorry but Grim Reaper should’ve won not Snow Fox. Rigged’ yet another angry person said.
Not everyone was disappointed with the results however.
‘Interesting people think Darren Hayes was robbed. I’m just glad to see someone who is a brilliant singer win…either one I think would’ve been a great winner’ wrote one person.
