Married at First Sight UK Viewers Criticize Peggy’s Father for Prohibiting Her and Husband Georges from Sharing a Bed, Calling His Actions ‘Delusional’ Just One Month After Their Wedding

Married at First Sight viewers slammed Peggy’s parents for banning her sharing a bed with husband Georges – months after the couple tied the knot.

During the latest episode the couples were given a taste of their new partner’s real lives away from the experiment, with Peggy taking Georges to her parent’s home, where she continues to live aged 32.

And within minutes of arriving Peggy informed her beau that due to her parents being ‘traditional’ they would have to sleep in separate bedrooms.

A shocked Georges later revealed in his confessional:  ‘I never thought I’d have to sleep in the spare room’.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer wrote: ‘I understand fathers don’t like their daughters sharing a bed with a boyfriend in his house but FFS they’re married’.

While a second quipped: ‘Peggy’s dad definatley has CCTV installed in her room and a shotgun beside his bed to make sure there is no hanky panky going on’.

And ‘Peggy’s parents are the reason she can’t find a man LOL’.

With someone else saying: ‘How is Peggy still living at her parents house at the age of 33? Such a childlike bedroom. So creepy!’.

Then things only went from bad to worse as the in laws began to grill Georges on his career as a streamer with fans branding their line of questioning ‘rude’ and ‘vile’.

One wrote: ‘George is absolutely not good enough for Peggy or her parents if this is anything to go by, Get out now!!’.

And: ‘#mafsuk is such a wild show. I actually can’t believe Peggy’s parents are so delusional. Controlling classless berks who’ve mollycoddled an actual grown up to that degree it’s vile. She’s got Stockholm syndrome. George’s should run for the hills’.

Someone else wrote: ‘Peggy’s parents saying George is lazy when they don’t even know him’.

It comes after  viewers were left bemused by Peggy’s lavish and somewhat bizarre family home.

Fans were quick to slam the ‘vile’ decor which mixed a traditional antique style with sparkles and a bizarre half naked mannequin.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan asked: ‘One question….WFH is Peggy’s house all about?’.

While a second wrote: ‘What is that weird-ass scantily clad Mannequin in Peggy’s room?!’.

Someone else wrote: ‘Does Peggy live in a Tudor house? No seriously, half expected to see the ghost of Elizabeth I shaking her head in disapproval’.

While another quipped: ‘Peggy’s Mam and Dad deffo vote against children having free school meals, state of that house looks like Downton Abbey’.

And: ‘I’m not being funny, but Peggy and her family are so old school I doubt they have Wi-Fi in their house’.

Someone else shared a snap of Peggy in her room beneath a mirror encrusted wall hanging which read ‘love’ and said: ‘Is it me or do they have this sign in every room?’.

And: ‘Peggy’s mum and dad also wanting to control Georges. All about precious Peggy. She’s not a princess despite living in the castle. Run fast Georges if you can find your way out of that house’.
