Married At First Sight’s Ridge Barredo left his co-stars and viewers alike cringing on Wednesday night as he made a string of sexual remarks at the latest dinner party.
The groom, 27, recently came under fire from his bride Jade Pywell’s family over his maturity, and he failed to allay their concerns during the dramatic soiree.
Single mother Jade, 26, opened up to the other couples about how her family were worried about his maturity after he kept cracking jokes during their Homestays visit.
However Ridge appeared not to take her concerns seriously, as he couldn’t stop making inappropriate and sexual comments while she told the group of her worries.
Tori Adams angrily told the groom to ‘grow up’ as he kept laughing while Jade watched on looking uncomfortable, before admitting she was ’embarrassed’.
Married At First Sight’s Ridge Barredo left his co-stars and viewers alike cringing as he made a string of sexual remarks at the latest dinner party on Wednesday
Opening up to the group, Jade said: ‘[My family] got really upset at one point because they are worried about his maturity levels, more so because I have a daughter.’
‘Two weekends ago, we did hang out with his friends and that was a shock for me, because his friends were a lot,’ she added.
Recalling one moment from their meeting with his friends, Ridge smiled as he said: ‘A girl was on a table next door and my best friend goes “decccc”.’
But Jade angrily said: ‘And I’m sitting there and I’m like what 10-year-old does that?’
Jono McCullough rolled his eyes and said ‘here we go’, prompting Ridge to point and laugh before making more sexual remarks.
Ridge went on: ‘I think it’s funny, it’s better than being vanilla. It’s not just missionary that me and my boys are talking, we’re talking doggy! We’re talking reverse-cow!’
Tori Adams angrily told the groom to ‘grow up’ as he kept cracking inappropriate jokes and laughing while his bride Jade Pywell candidly shared her concerns about their relationship
Tori then angrily told him: ‘Can you just grow up for 30 f**king seconds!’
However, Ridge simply hit back with his bizarre and cringeworthy catchphrase: ‘Deccccc!’
Speaking to camera, Jade shared her embarrassment: ‘The way he talks and just saying things in general that are uncalled for, it was probably a bit awkward for me, it’s embarrassing.’
In recent scenes, Ridge raised eyebrows as he repeatedly used his bizarre catchphrase ‘dec’ while having lunch with Jade’s family in an awkward moment.
Jade’s family were left looking baffled by his outbursts while her sister called into question his maturity.
To camera, Jade’s sister shared her doubts as she said: ‘She does need a mature person that’s going to take on a child, so I don’t know, I guess we will see.’
She then asked Jade what she didn’t like about Ridge, with the bride and single mother admitting his maturity had been an issue.
Jade said: ‘He’s a lot better now but at the start he would talk very immature. He said a lot of weird words, there was such a language barrier.’
Jade admitted she was ’embarrassed’ as Ridge kept using his bizarre catchphrase ‘deccc’ and making sexual jokes over the dinner, after his maturity was questioned by her family
Jade insisted he had used slang much ‘worse’ than ‘dec’, to which Ridge said: ‘What like dogging?’, leaving Jade and her family all looking unimpressed.
To camera, Jade fumed: ‘It’s not funny, it sounds so dirty, I just hate the word.’
Jade then told Ridge that it was time to ‘grow up’ as her sister questioned whether Ridge would get involved in the ‘party life’ after moving to the Gold Coast to be with her and her daughter.
Jade’s mother and sister later told the bride that they just didn’t want to see her get hurt as they shared a tearful exchange and showed their support for her.
