Explosive drama this week between two Married At First Sight brides .

Exclusive images obtained by Daily Mail show bride Rachel Gilmore, 35, enjoying a carefree night out with rival bride Bec Zacharia at a bowling alley - just days after their bitter on-screen clash rocked the experiment.

The brides were accompanied by their on-screen husbands, with Steven Danyluk staying close to Rachel, while Danny Hewitt stayed by Bec's side across the night.

The surprising scenes appear to show the feuding reality stars laughing, chatting and partying together despite their very public fallout during this week's Couples Retreat.

Another image captures the group gathered around the bowling balls, with both women appearing relaxed and animated as they mingle with their castmates.

The playful outing paints a stark contrast to the intense scenes viewers watched unfold on television, suggesting that what is seen on the reality TV show may not paint the full picture.

During the explosive Couples Retreat episode,

Rachel has since been dealing with the fallout of Bec Zacharia's vulgar comments.

She broke down in tears after Bec mocked her for being 'fingerb***ed' by her groom.

The blow-up continued a second night, with Rachel storming off from the retreat and Bec fleeing to stay at a hotel.

But the drama didn't end there, with Rachel admitting that the scrutiny destroyed her love life with Steven.

'Steven and I no longer felt comfortable being intimate,' Rachel told TV Week.

when she claimed the pair had experienced their first 'fingerb**g.'

The couple, who have had intimacy issues since entering the experiment, had only just shared their happy news with the group when Bec made her joke.

Bec had started by acknowledging that Joel and Juliette had made progress, while Filip had declared his love for his bride Stella.

'Guys… it's the first night of retreat, and we've had I love yous,' she said.

'And we've had a couple who I thought could not come back from the brink of hell.

'And we've had fingerb***ing.'

At first, Rachel tried to defuse the tension, but things quickly escalated when Bec realised that her attempt at humour had gone down badly with the group.

'Bec, a quick apology to Rach,' Sam suggested, which appeared to surprise the controversial bride.

'Oh, I'm so sorry, I apologise, it was meant to be a bit of fun,' Bec told Rachel, but the hurt bride was having none of it.

Rachel replied: 'I didn't think it was funny... I shared with you guys that we took intimacy to a new level, which is really important for Steve and me, and you just made a joke of it.'
