Margot Robbie has shared the cheeky nickname she and her Wuthering Heights co-star Jacob Elordi gave one of the film's raciest sex scene locations.

The Australian actress, 35, confessed the saucy details at an iHeartLive event in Sydney as she chatted with host Kent 'Smallzy' Small.

In the film, Robbie's character Catherine Earnshaw masturbates on a rock while her love interest, Heathcliff (played by Elordi) watches her.

Robbie previously admitted that the actors had a crude name for that location, but she had declined to disclose it.

'You said in an interview there was a nickname for the rock in filming and it was beeped out on the internet,' Small asked.

'I'll tell you backstage,' Robbie replied - but Small could not be discouraged and continued to needle the star for the name.

'All right, it was w**king rock, okay. It was w**king rock,' she said with a laugh.

Jacob, 28, who was seated beside Robbie, joined her in having a giggle over the naughty nickname.

Emerald Fennell's hotly-anticipated reinvention of Wuthering Heights has finally hit cinemas.

Film fans are already hailing the sweeping period drama as the 'movie of the year', as they took to social media to share their thoughts on the moving plot, admitting they 'cried their eyes out'.

Set against the wild Yorkshire moors, the passionate love story explores the intense and destructive relationship between Cathy and Heathcliff.

Some fans even confessed that the movie inspired them to finally finish reading the famous novel.

One fan gushed: 'Wuthering Heights, movie of the year,' while another said, 'I did not expect to love the movie. I enjoyed that... I cried my eyes out.'

'And so what if I sobbed for the last 20 minutes of Wuthering Heights,' said someone else.

'I just watched Wuthering Heights. I think the movie is like one big fanfic, and honestly, I loved it,' another viewer wrote.

Speaking before the release, director Emerald Fennell, 40, revealed she was actively hoping audiences would have such an intense reaction.

She told Time Out: 'I want lots of snogging [in the cinema]. I think whatever you can get away with – sorry, Cineworld.

'There will be some of that, there will also be a lot of people having to be carried out because they're crying so much.

'I really love seeing movies where people have a visceral experience. I think screaming and laughing and crying and gasping, we want a connected experience.'
