Maren Morris is dating again following her divorce from Ryan Hurd in January.
In a new interview, the controversial country crossover star admitted that she is using the celebrity dating app Raya – and that she was surprised to see another celebrity on it, despite not being able to name who it was.
Morris – who came out as bisexual during Pride Month this year – did not specify the gender of the celebrity either.
‘I’m dating again – dating for the first time, truly,’ Morris, 34, told the Armchair Expert podcast’s hosts Dax Shepard and Monica Padman.
When Shepard asked her if she was on Raya, the dating app for celebrities and other notable people, she confessed that she was.
‘Yeah, I am,’ she replied and the hosts asked if they could see her profile on the app before asking her if she’d seen any big stars’ profiles as she swiped through the multitude of choices.
‘Yeah, a few times. It’s kind of shocked me,’ the Highwomen singer said.
‘And it makes me feel better too because there’s such a vulnerability of being like, “Here’s the buffet of options today that I’m a part of.” It made me feel better knowing that this person was on there too.’

Maren couldn’t reveal who she’s seen on the app as Raya has strict rules around screenshots and sharing the names of other members.
Last month, the My Church singer opened up more about her dating adventures in an interview with People.
The Grammy Award winner said she’s looking for ‘a spectacularly impressive individual.’
‘I think pouring myself into another person is probably not a healthy way of going about things,’ she explained. I think it shifts the expectations and power and entitlement a lot.
‘I just have to put 100 percent into myself, and you truly have to be a spectacularly impressive individual to add something to my life because – and I don’t mean to sound full of myself – but the life that I’ve built, I am really, really happy with,’ added Morris.
She and Hurd, 37, were married from 2018 until their divorce was settled in January, and they share 4-year-old son Hayes Andrew.
‘I love my career, I love my baby, I love my home, I love my friends,’ Morris said. ‘Those are all things that matter to me, and those are self-made.
‘I only will allow someone to come into my life if they amplify any of it. They can’t be a net negative. They can’t drain my resources, and I mean that in every sense of the word. Financially, emotionally, spiritually.’
Morris emphasized, ‘You truly have to have your s— together to be any part of my life at this point.’

The Humble Quest artist noted she has to ‘protect my heart,’ adding: ‘I think there’s less pressure to make anything spark or happen, it’s just like I’m enjoying dating for the first time.
‘Nothing crazy has happened yet, it’s just mostly been like OK, I can still do this, I guess, and meet a stranger and connect through conversation,’ explained Morris. ‘That’s tougher than you’d think.’
She raved it’s the ‘perfect moment to be dating,’ adding, ‘My rules are just you have to be really spectacular to push me over.’
‘This feels like an amazing journey of discovery, and also the heartbreak of the death of a relationship and what fun and joy you find in the aftermath of a trauma or a tragedy like that,’ Morris said.
