The controversial groom, 31, who was paired with Awhina, 31, during the experiment, took to the couch with his TV bride for a final chat with the experts and to watch their marriage journey unfold on the screen.
A tearful Awhina finally had the chance to ask fellow bride Sierah Swepstone why she had pursued her groom.
