Married At First Sight grooms Chris Robinson and Sammy Stanton have broken their silence following their wedding episode.

Speaking to Daily Mail, the couple opened up about the shock baby bombshell, explosive dinner party drama and even the X-rated casting question producers asked before they were matched.

The intruder couple instantly stood out as sparks flew at the altar, but behind the smiles was a major secret Chris had yet to reveal.

The 38-year-old gym owner and farmer is expecting one child via and another as a donor father to a lesbian friend, but chose not to tell Sam on their wedding night.

'Obviously, it is pretty big news,' Chris explained. 'But we had just met. He was a stranger. In the real world, when do you tell someone? First, second, third date?'

He admitted he deliberately 'hit pause' after Sam revealed children were not on his radar in the immediate future.

'It does come pretty quickly. It's just around the corner. I don't leave it too long.'

Sam, 34, says he has wrestled with the timing.

'I think there's definitely reasons that I should have known upfront what I was walking into,' he said.

'But I also understand and empathise with Chris. It was big news that he wanted to feel some security between us before he shared that information.'

'I've thought about that a lot and wondered whether it was the right timing.'

Despite the looming reveal, Sam insists he believes he will handle it well.

'I think when he does tell me, I'll receive that news well.'

While viewers saw them beam at each other during their vows, Sam admits the spark wasn’t an instant burst of fireworks.

'I wouldn't say it was an instant connection,' he said.

'I turned around and thought, this guy's handsome - beautiful blue eyes, good looking dude, but it was definitely like, you're a stranger. I don't know you at all.'

Chris, however, couldn't hide his excitement.

'You can see on my face that I've got a really big smile,' he said.

'It was a very good first reaction.'

Beyond the wedding bliss, both grooms admit there was pressure as the only same-sex pairing this season.

'There was lots of pressure for us to make it work,' Chris said. 'Third time's a charm.'

But when asked about being labelled the 'gay grooms', Chris made it clear he is unfazed.

'I couldn't really give a flying f**k I am who I am.'

'I have so much respect for Sam coming onto the experiment with me. It shows we're both standing there as proud gay men getting married. It's huge.'

And in a candid moment, Chris revealed the cheeky X-rated question producers asked during casting.

'They did ask if I slept on the top bunk or the bottom bunk,' he laughed.

'I answered that question accurately — and let's just say we were matched correctly.'

While their wedding was filled with warmth, the real chaos began at the first dinner party.

The pair entered the experiment blind, unaware of existing alliances and rivalries.

'Chris and I were just sitting there at the end of the table like, "Oh my god, this is crazy. Who are these people? This is nuts!"' Sam said.

Chris confirmed that allegations of problematic comments surfaced early.

Sam also took aim at Tyson's behaviour — particularly towards women. 'What I'm not liking is seeing the way that he speaks to women,' Sam said. 'It really pisses me off that he would speak to me and have a civil conversation, but he seems to just shut down girls'

'It was brought to my attention that he was potentially racist and homophobic,' Chris said.

'He mentioned keep it behind closed doors and keep it out of my face. That's kind of like us telling straight people to keep it out of our face.'

'As a gay man, would you be offended if someone said that to you? Absolutely.'

'I think that's the problem with him. He really has some misogynistic values deep in him.'

The drama does not stop there.
