MAFS fans draw funny parallels between Lucinda Light’s father and a famous Hollywood legend – can you guess who?

Married at First Sight fans drew hilarious comparisons last night between Lucinda Light’s father and a Hollywood legend.

Viewers went wild commenting on the uncanny resemblance the bride’s Dad Michael Reilly shares with late actor and comedian Rodney Dangerfield.

‘So glad others thought the same – resemblance is uncanny’ a viewer wrote on social media.

Dangerfield was an American actor and stand up comedian best known for his roles in the ’80’s films ‘Caddyshack’, ‘Easy Money’ and ‘Back to School’.

The actor passed away in October 2004 aged 82.

Viewers also suggested Michael shared a resemblance with The Simpson’s character Larry Burns, who was voiced by Dangerfield in 1996.

It comes after Timothy Smith was grilled by Michael over getting ‘too p**sed off’ on Monday after the dramatic commitment ceremony.

Tim, 51, and Lucinda, 43, have had a rocky few days after the groom felt ‘blindsided’ by his partner when she brought up not feeling ‘desired’ at Sunday’s commitment ceremony.

Things were very tense between the couple as they headed to see their loved ones, with Tim insisting he planned to be ‘brutally honest’ about their difficulties as they clashed on their way to the meet-up.

The couple opened up to Lucinda’s parents Michael and Susan and Tim’s friends Rachelle and Brett about their fight at the commitment ceremony, which saw them wake up in separate apartments that morning.

Lucinda’s father was left unimpressed after hearing Tim discuss how angry he was about the situation, and took him off for a private chat where he grilled the groom.

Michael’s tough love got through to Tim as he insisted he realised he had been in the wrong and apologised to Lucinda as they looked to take steps forward.

The scenes came after Tim was left fuming when Lucinda brought up not feeling ‘desired’ by Tim during the commitment ceremony.

Despite thinking they had a good few days, Lucinda agreed with the experts when they described the bond as a ‘close friendship’ while discussing their intimacy obstacle.

Tim was left telling Lucinda not to talk to him as he felt ‘blind-sided’ by her remarks and insisted they should have been a team, as he was also angry that everyone in the room had taken his bride’s side.
