Luke Wilson, 54, Welcomes Baby with Girlfriend

has reportedly become a first time dad at 54, welcoming a child with long-term girlfriend Kendall Yates, 24.

Wilson, who has been in a relationship with Yates for more than three years, is now father to a daughter with his model partner, People reports.

Per the outlet, the Vacancy star and Yates made their first public outing with their baby at a press reception for Wilson’s upcoming comedy series, The Hawk, at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, on Tuesday, July 7.

Wilson and Yates were seen holding their baby in a carrier, before introducing the newborn 'to guests and Wilson’s castmates', including Jimmy Tatro.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Wilson for comment and has yet to hear back.

Wilson and Yates were last pictured together in April, with Yates appearing to display a prominent baby bump - although the pair never publicly confirmed the pregnancy.

Wilson was also notably absent from the Legally Blonde reunion in June, which saw stars including Reese Witherspoon and Ali Larter join forces to promote prequel series, Elle.

He has kept his romance with Yates largely low-key - with the pair making their sole public appearance at the Los Angeles Premiere of Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 in June 2024.

The brother of Owen Wilson had previously spoken openly about his desire to become a father. In a 2019 interview, he said, 'I'm 47, I'm ready for that. I need to get to work.' 

Ahead of his 50th birthday in 2021, the actor said he was beginning to understand the term 'midlife crisis.'

'Thirty didn't matter to me. Forty didn't matter to me,' he told People magazine. 'I just steamrolled right through it, but 50 – I don't know if it's getting to me because I am sore when I wake up in the middle of the night, and I am forgetting the names of people I know.
