Love Island Fans Spot Temu Clones in Cast

Love Island fans are gearing up for another long, hot, summer, with the hit dating show set to return for its 13th series. 

And ahead of the launch show on Monday, released a first look at the cast, who have jetted to Mallorca for a shot at finding love. 

Yet rather than be excited to see the new Islanders, social media users were left with a sense of deja vu, taking to X to brand the cast 'Temu clones' of previous Islanders. 

Indeed, it seems the producers have a type on paper, with the season 13 stars bearing a striking resemblance to stars of the past.  

Now, the Daily Mail takes a look at this year's Love Island doppelgängers. 

Ellie Chadwick vs Ellie Brown 

Season 13's Ellie Chadwick doesn't just have looks in common with a past contestant, but also the same name. 

The blonde bombshell is the spitting image of Ellie Brown, who appeared on season four of the hit ITV show. 

While looking for love in the villa, Ellie is on the hunt for a man who's 'tall, dark and handsome'.

Ellie explained: 'If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. It’s a classic for a reason. Nice teeth, nice tattoos, partial to a blonde as well. Pretty face. Look like you’re going to break my heart but like, please don’t.'

Robyn Langton vs Helena Ford 

Just a couple of months after Helena Ford left the Love Island: All Stars villa, fans thought she was making a third appearance on the show. 

Yet instead, it was newcomer Robyn Langton, who with her athletic physique and mass of golden locks, is a dead ringer for Helena.  

Robyn has revealed her strategy for finding love on the show, saying: 'I like to observe first. 

'I wouldn't say I'm a slow burner, but I like to take in someone's personality, how they carry themselves, and how they interact with other people.

'I won't just rush into something; I have to genuinely like someone. And I'm an absolute star, they've got to tick all the boxes before they even have a chance with me.'

Lorenzo Alessi vs Nathan Massey 

While he may have been billed the 'European hunk' of the season, Lorenzo Alessi has a lot in common with Essex cheeky chappie, Nathan Massey. 

Lorenzo will no doubt be hoping to emulate Nathan's success after he won season two of the show and went on to marry his partner Cara De La Hoyde and welcome two children. 

Asked what his type is Lorenzo said: 'Traditionally blonde, but not always. I quite like a posh girl.

'One feature I look at is a girl's arms, I don't know why. It's really strange! Imagine like a Jessica Alba or an Angelina Jolie kind of arm and neck, I find that very elegant. Very niche, I know!'

Samraj Toor vs Davide Sanclimenti

As a professional model, Samraj Toor is used to turning heads, just like season eight star Davide Sanclimenti. 

Davide became a fan favourite when he won his season with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, yet it wasn't meant to be and the pair ultimately split. 

Samraj isn't worried about meeting girls, as he shared: 'Without sounding arrogant, in the outside world I don’t really chase that much, I’m used to girls coming to me.

'I know in the Villa it’s a different dynamic. In the beginning I’m not going to be pushing myself out there, I’m just gonna watch and see who I like and then go from there.'

Ope Sowande vs Aaron Francis 

Ope Sowande may look similar to Aaron Francis but he'll no doubt be hoping their Love Island journeys aren't as similar. 

Aaron appeared on season seven of the show and was coupled up with five women before ultimately being dumped. 

Discussing how he plans to cope with 'competition' in the villa, Ope shared: 'No one phases me. I’m so confident in my ability to just do my thing. 

'I don’t get phased, I don’t get intimidated, I don’t get threatened. It’s not even about them, it’s about me. I’m very confident in myself as a person. I love my beauty, I love my looks, I love my humour.'

Mica Harris vs Shakira Khan

It seems like history is repeating itself, because Mica Harris looks just like last year's finalist Shakira Khan. 

Shakira's story is an inspirational one, given she is still with partner Harry Cooksley, and the pair have just moved in together.  

Bajan beauty Mica is new to the English dating scene but is clear about what she didn't want in a man. 

She said: 'I do not want a really egotistical, cringey man. That's not my vibe at all. I can't have someone who's more into themselves than they are me. They need to be obsessed with me.'

Lola Deal vs Emily Moran

Lola Deal is a detective on the outside world so maybe she can get to the bottom of why all the Islanders look alike! 

As for herself, she bears a resemblance to Emily Moran, who appeared on the show last year.  

Describing her 'type on paper', Lola said: 'I like tall, Italian looking. Dark hair normally, even though I always end up with blondes! Light eyes but again, I’m not too fussy. 

'In a personality, I like someone funny, I think funny goes such a long way. I like someone who is smart who can teach me things.'

Sean Fitz vs Charlie Frederik

While Sean Fitz bears a similarity to Charlie Frederick, he'll no doubt be hoping to have a better villa experience. 

Charlie first appeared on season three of Love Island but was dumped without a partner, while his most recent appearance on All Stars saw him booted out of the villa by his love interest Millie Court. 

The Irishman is prepared to ruffle feathers, declaring: 'If I see someone I like, I’m going for it and nothing’s gonna stop me.'

As for his turn offs, Sean shared: 'Cockiness and a dry personality I can’t stand.'  

Sam Workman vs Curtis Pritchard 

Sam Workman will no doubt be hoping he fares better than his doppelganger Curtis Pritchard, who has appeared on the show three times. 

Curtis first looked for love in season five of the show, before jetting across the pond for Love Island Games and then making a return for Love Island: All Stars. 

Sam said of his type: 'My type on paper would be someone classy, mature, blonde, fun, and someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I like people who can let their hair down and enjoy themselves.'

He added: 'I definitely want to find love. I’ve had a good year being single and dating, but I’m at a stage now where I want to settle down and find the love of my life.'

Angelista vs Leanne Amaning 

Angelista bears a resemblance to season six's Leanne Amaning, but will no doubt be hoping that her time on the show isn't as drama-filled. 

After a short stint on season six, Leanne returned for Love Island: All Stars where her on/off romance with Scott van-der-Sluis caused tension. 

Discussing her relationship 'strategy', Angelista shared: 'Someone will take your man if you’re playing it safe at the back and you’ll watch it happen and that’s not nice. 

'You have to read the room with the guy as well, to see if he’s feeling the same.'

Jasmine Müller vs Sanam Harrinanan

Jasmine Müller will do well if her villa journey is anything like her doppelganger Sanam Harrinanan.

Sanam made history in season nine as the first Casa Amor bombshell to win the show, alongside Kai Fagan. 

Discussing the type of man she wants to avoid, Jasmine shared: 'An insecure man. Honestly, how would he deal with me? That’s the real question. 

'I don’t think insecure men could handle me. I pick up on insecurity straight away, and it just wouldn’t end well. By the end of it, he’d probably hate me.' 

Aidan Murphy vs Mitch Taylor 

Aidan Murphy may look like Mitch Taylor but it remains to be seen if he'll be just as controversial. 

Mitch earned himself the nickname 'Messy Mitch' when he caused plenty of drama in season 10, retaining his title when he appeared on All Stars. 

As for whether drama is the goal for Aidan, he said: 'Finding love is definitely the goal. That said, I do enjoy a bit of drama. 

'I probably wouldn’t get fully involved but I’d definitely be listening, taking it in - maybe stirring the pot a little bit.'
