Love Island Fans Celebrate Tweet Challenge Return!

In 2017, one of Love Island's most iconic moments occurred when 's thoughts on featured in the tweet challenge. 

And the legendary challenge has been absent for some years - yet fans were fizzing with excitement when it was revealed the segment, in which Islanders learn what the outside world are saying about them, is returning on Thursday night. 

Newly-dubbed Tea, Receipts and Truths, the Islanders participate in choosing whether they would prefer 'Public Tea' or 'Villa Receipts'. 

For Public Tea, the group is shown a social media comment from the public and must correctly identify which Islander the post is referring to, while Villa Receipts requires the Islanders to guess both the person who made the comment and the subject.

Two of the comments set to be revealed include: 'I reckon the s*x would be mad, we've got to share a bed tonight and I'm worried,' and 'You know what puts me off? She has a big ego' - leaving the villa extremely shocked. 

On the challenge, a show insider revealed to The Sun: 'The game throws the villa into complete chaos as what the public think of the islanders is exposed.

'Comments that islanders would rather have stayed secret will also come out in the open. Two of the villa couples are left fuming and it caused HUGE drama.'

Elsewhere in the episode, fans continue to lobby for Jasmin and Lorenzo to reunite, following her ructions with Cavan the previous evening. 

Following a dramatic evening when two Islanders were sent home, Lorenzo's current partner Yasmin was found seeking solace in the bedroom as she navigates her emotions.

Joining her to offer support, Mica is seen listening to Yasmin as she admits to feeling disappointed by Lorenzo's general lack of comfort and affection.

'When I'm upset, I just want to be around my person and have a cuddle, but he's not like that and it's making me think about everything,' Yasmin explains.

Venturing back into the garden, Mica relays the details to Jasmine who says: 'Maybe he just doesn't feel it with her. I have a feeling he might not.'

Jasmine later finds Lorenzo in the Snug to see how he is coping with the weight of the recent dumping. Opening up, Lorenzo confesses his doubts about whether he will find a lasting connection in the Villa.

When Jasmine questions if things with Yasmin have reached a standstill, he admits: 'I'm not sure… I think it's more, you don't realise what you've got until it's gone', to which Jasmine suggestively queries: 'Like with me?'

Later, Yasmin comes clean with her concerns with Lorenzo and asks him about his current situation with Jasmine, to which he controversially replies: 'It's annoying that I never got to see if it was anything'.
