Love Island: All Stars bosses were reportedly stunned by the amount of upcoming contestants on the series who requested to use a certain app while in the villa.
The reality stars have built their online profiles using platforms such as TikTok and Instagram since appearing on the show for the first time.
However, it wasn’t a social media app that they were all asking for access to once they enter the villa in the coming days.
Islanders, who are under a strict phone ban on the show, have been begging to use language learning app Duolingo while on the show.
According to the Mirror, the stars have been worried about losing their Duolingo ‘streaks’, which they gain by using the app each day.
Apparently bosses were shocked by the amount of people who asked if there was a ‘loophole’ to be able to keep up their language skills in the South African villa.

A backstage source said: ‘Everyone was amazed by the repeated requests about Duolingo, but they’ve been told they will still have to forgo their phones.’

The former show winner, 30, who scooped the £50,000 cash prize with ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti in 2022, will make a triumphant return to the series as she hopes to finally find a long-term partner.
She won over ITV2 viewers during her first appearance on the show where she and Davide, who famously accused Ekin of being a ‘liar’ and an ‘actress’, became known for their tempestuous romance.
After their bitter breakup earlier this year, Ekin starred on Celebrity Big Brother but was branded ‘fake’ by her housemates, with the reality star avoiding the show’s final following an ‘uncomfortable backlash.’
Ekin later admitted to being in ‘survival mode’ and said she was carrying a lot of ‘baggage’ because of her split from Davide, who was accused of being unfaithful during their relationship on multiple occasions.
But now, by returning to the show that made her name, Ekin hopes to be her own person again and finally find the right man to settle down with.
A TV source told MailOnline: ‘Ekin-Su has been the number one priority for casting producers, they know fans would love to see her return to the villa.

‘She was so iconic during her first appearance on the show and now she’s single again at the perfect time. ‘The deal is agreed in principle, there’s still some details to sort out, but there’s huge hope she’s finally agreed to take a second chance at finding long-lasting love in front of the nation.

Former Islanders who are set to join Ekin-Su in the villa according to a leaked line-up include Olivia Hawkins, Curtis Pritchard, India Reynold and Luca Bish.
Gabby Allen, Marcel Sommerville, Kaz Crossley, Scott Thomas, Catherine Agbaje, Elma Pazar, Nas Majeed and Ronnie Vint are also said to be taking part.
