Leigh Francis was crowned the winner of the second episode of this year’s Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.
The comedian beat EastEnders legend Danny Dyer, funnyman Rhod Gilbert and radio DJ Yinka Bokinni to receive the Star Baker apron on Sunday night.
Leigh dropped his Keith Lemon alter ego to take part in the Channel 4 special and managed to wow judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with his ‘disgusting’ Showstopper.
Tasked with creating a cake out of their biggest disaster, Leigh decided to recreate the moment he lost his toenail, crafting an impressive baked replica of his injured foot.

The judges and viewers were left seriously impressed with the bake, especially after Leigh confessed that he had never made a cake before.
‘That toe nail looks so realistic,’ tweeted one viewer.
Others agreed, writing: ‘Leigh is so bloody talented! Love him’; Genuinely surprised (in a good way!) on #gbbo by @LeighFrancis and his #showstopperchallenge!’; ‘So chuffed for Leigh! Genius!’
The show also saw the four celebs tasked with making 12 biscuits for their first task, the Signature challenge and tricky fondant fancies for their Technical.
Leigh also impressed in the Technical, taking first place. He follows in Spencer Matthew’s footsteps after the Made In Chelsea star won the first episode.
Elsewhere, viewers were delighted to see comedian Rhod Gilbert back on TV after his ‘brutal’ cancer battle.
Rhod was first diagnosed with head and neck cancer after finding a lump in April 2022.
The comedian, 55, received treatment at Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff – a treatment centre he had served as patron for a decade.

In a 2023 interview with Stand Up 2 Cancer, Rhod explained: ‘So about 10 years ago, a little cancer centre in Cardiff called Velindre approached me and said, “Do you want to be a patron, you know an ambassador?”
‘I said, “Yes”, and I’ve been involved with them ever since.’
Discussing his decade of fundraising for the centre trekking across Kilimanjaro and Patagonia, the comedian added: ‘They’ve been a big part of my life really for the last ten years.
‘So imagine my surprise when I was diagnosed which, p****d me off no end because I thought I’d have lifelong immunity, apparently not.
‘Apparently you’re just as likely to get cancer even if you spend your time fundraising for a cancer hospital,’ he joked.
