The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star took to to confirm her breakup from boyfriend Mason McWhorter on Saturday.

The 24-year-old Hulu personality got emotional while explaining why she is 'no longer' with Mason, whom she dated for nearly one year.

'I don’t ever really come on my page and cry so this is already really hard for me to do,' she confessed to her 955 million followers.

Layla noted that she wanted to 'set the record straight' as gossip and fan accounts had already noticed that she removed photos of Mason from social media and they unfollowed each other.

'I genuinely wish and want the best for Mason. Things just weren’t working out,' she said about the 'super fresh' split.

It appears her boyfriend was the one who initiated the breakup, as she added, 'I think we were just on two different paths right now. He felt, in order for him to grow, he had to be on his own. And I respect his decision, and I truly hope that he gets what he wants in life.'

Layla explained that the uncouple is even more challenging because Mason had gotten close to her sons Ollie and Maxwell, whom she shares with ex-husband Clayton Wessel.

'Mason was a really big part of me and my boys’ lives for the past almost year,' she stated. 'And we went through a lot in this last year, to be honest. But I’m grateful for everything, and I’m grateful he was a part of my life for how long he was.'

The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives has catapulted the cast of Utah-based moms to fame

Season one of the Hulu series took the streamer by storm, with fans quickly becoming engrossed in the messy lives of a clique of Mormon mothers and wives.

The group achieved notoriety on TikTok prior to appearing on television, due to MomTok leader Taylor Frankie Paul's brazen confession to having a 'soft swinging' scandal that rocked the social circle.

Chase's now-ex-wife Miranda McWhorter and Taylor were the main wives involved in the swinging, leading to the streamer's interest in highlighting their lives.

Their sex parties led to an affair between Taylor and Chase while he was married to Miranda and she was wed to Tate Paul. Both couples later divorced.

Season three of the show premiered in November.
