Lauren Goodger Celebrates Gemma Collins Support Amid Tragedy

has praised after revealing she was the only star to send her flowers after her daughter Lorena passed away. 

In an emotional chat with  and Georgia Dayton on their Made For Mummas podcast, the reality star, 38, spoke about the tragic loss of her daughter. 

Lauren, who is mother to Larose, four, gave birth to her second daughter in July 2022, but she sadly passed away just minutes after she was born, having been starved of oxygen when her umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck.

The star, who shares both her girls with ex , spoke passionately with the duo about the loss and also lauded Gemma for her support, stating: 'She's the only one out of everyone that sent me flowers... that really meant a lot. 

Having left TOWIE after six seasons in 2012, Lauren returned in 2024 and admits she would love Gemma to join her - however revealed the eye-popping figure Gemma is demanding for a comeback: 'She wants like a £1m a day or something ridiculous'.

Having left TOWIE after six seasons in 2012, Lauren returned in 2024 and admits she would love Gemma to join her - however revealed the eye-popping figure Gemma is demanding for a comeback: 'She wants like a £1m a day or something ridiculous'

Lauren is preparing to release her book Mum Of Two, which she says she has penned in a bid to 'help' other parents by sharing her 'difficult' experience with grief and how she found the 'courage and strength' each day.

Speaking to Zoe and Georgia, she detailed the heartbreak of her loss and how she keeps Lorena deeply present in their lives.

When discussing her TOWIE days, she spoke about former stars of the show, which led to her confession about the much-appreciated support from Gemma. 

On Gemma returning to the show, she said: 'I would love to get Gemma back. I've tried... She wants something like a million pound a day or something ridiculous'. 

In the heartfelt chat, she spoke about her tough upbringing, while also detailing the cathartic nature of writing the book about the 'unimaginable' death of her newborn.

Lauren said she want to 'help' other parents by sharing her 'difficult' experience with grief and how she found the 'courage and strength' each day.

In announcing her book on Instagram earlier this month, Lauren wrote: 'I am so pleased to finally tell you all that I am releasing a book! Mum Of Two will be on sale in July.

'As you all know, my eldest, Larose, is the light of my life. She loves to be the centre of attention, just like me. But my youngest, Lorena, is harder to picture. I never heard the sound of her laugh, or her cry.

'I am writing Mum of Two as when the unimaginable happened, I couldn’t find a book that helped me during the most difficult times after losing my newborn baby. This is my story of loss and grief, and of finding my courage and strength.'

Lauren added that she has put on a 'brave face' each day for Larose.

On being a single mother to Larose snd co-parenting with ex Charlie, she said: 'He is in our life and he's a good dad, but alternatively, I am the main. The primary care...

'Yeah. And I just want a peaceful life. And I don't know when that's going to be, how that's going to be, but I just want her to have the most beautiful. Her childhood is in my hands. And I feel like I just want to give her everything that I didn't have...

'Listen, I know my mum, she's after me and it wasn't out of a place where she'd care. It was different circumstance, but I don't want Larose to experience any of that. Wanting to be with your mom or miss you. That's why I keep the dads around and we do things wrong or right. People might not agree with it.'
