Lauren Conrad Exits Reality TV After 20 Years

 has revealed whether she will continue to reignite her career after returning to the spotlight in the 20th anniversary special The Reunion: Laguna Beach.

Conrad was one of the It Girls from Laguna Beach in the early 2000s, alongside on-off pal Kristin Cavallari, but in recent years has stayed out of the media glare.

'I would love to put a pin in my career,' the 40-year-old reality star said in a teaser for 's podcast Let's Be Honest this Tuesday.

'It would be really cool to end my career with the same people I started it with. Like, the same group of people I started with, I can also say goodbye with. It felt clean and then when this is all over, I can...'

Conrad's 39-year-old castmate interjected: '...hang up that entertainment hat.'

'God, I hope so,' the pretty designer said. 'I don't [miss it at all].'

Conrad was an 18-year-old senior attending Laguna Beach High School when MTV recruited her and classmates Cavallari, Lo Bosworth and Stephen Colletti to star in the first two seasons of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County in 2004-2005. 

The blonde beauty previously called it 'the easiest money I ever made' and she only agreed to star in five seasons of MTV's spin-off The Hills from 2006-2009 because she 'was broke.'

Conrad feuded with Cavallari over their love triangle with castmate Stephen Colletti in Laguna Beach, and The Hills was frequently criticized for fabricating storylines.
