star shared a video on Instagram in which she gushed that Hollywood actress had stopped in to the Bondi location of her ToniMay jewellery shop.
'I've just found out that Sydney Sweeney was in our Bondi ToniMay store and I am hyperventilating,' Laura, 40, announced breathlessly.
'She bought two one-of-a-kind solid gold rings,' the 40-year-old added, slapping her hand over her mouth in shock.
ToniMay offers an array of pieces, among which are engagement rings and solid gold wedding bands, which retail for AUD $1,480.
The purchase of two rings sparked chatter among Sweeney's fans, as it comes just days after the actress confirmed her romance with music mogul Scooter Braun.

Laura's post was met with criticism, however, with many in her comments section unimpressed by her support of the controversial Euphoria star, 28.
'Isn't she super MAGA?' asked one person, while another chimed in, 'She is MAGA, so not a flex.'
Someone else said: 'Love you, but she's a right wing Trump lover. Not excited.'
Another commented sarcastically: 'How great, she'll recommend you to all her MAGA friends!'
'Yikes... not the type of person you want to promote or be excited about,' another person said.
One more wrote: 'Really?? You're excited about a republican going into your store?? I thought you would have hated that.... hmm only when it suits the left I guess.'
Others were supportive, with someone commenting: 'That is epic! Haha to all the leftie women who literally can't deal with another woman having a different opinion to them.'

'I've never been here to talk about politics. I've always been here to make art, so this is just not a conversation I want to be at the forefront of,' she told Cosmopolitan.

'And I think because of that, people want to take it even further and use me as their own pawn,' said the actress, who has been tagged by some as a refreshing antidote to political correctness and by others as a pernicious right-wing influence.
The way she has been described in partisan terms is 'somebody else assigning something to me, and I can't control that,' Sweeney said.
When she was asked why she refuses to straighten out the record if she feels she is being falsely portrayed, she replied: 'I haven't figured it out. I'm not a hateful person. If I say: "That's not true," they'll come at me like: "You're just saying that to look better." There's no winning. There's never any winning.'
