Realising quickly that his words could be misunderstood as referring to a certain part of the male anatomy, Larry tried to recover as Mauboy and co-host fell about laughing.
'We're so lucky we work in television, we've got four skins,' Larry said, after previewing the Desert Skin advert featuring Mauboy.
He then blurted out: 'Five skins. Three skins. Do you know what I mean, layers?'
After an awkward pause, Larry tried to recover his composure by asking Jessica to get through the segment with a song, but the Australian Idol coach could not get the words out because she was laughing too hard.
