Kylie Minogue is finally dominating the American market.

The Aussie pop princess, 55, has scored her second number one hit on the US Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart with her latest studio album, Tension.

Her previous album Disco also secured the number one spot back in 2020.

Tension topping the chart can be attributed to the viral success of its lead single Padam Padam, which gained huge popularity as a dance anthem earlier this year.

This single also marked a significant milestone in June by becoming Kylie’s first track to reach the top 10 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

The recent smash successes come amid Kylie’s announcement of a Las Vegas residency, which sold out within hours of tickets becoming available.

She’ll be joining an illustrious list of stars such as Cher, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears, who have all performed regular concert spectaculars in the glitzy casino city.

Kylie says she is yet to choose a set list but wants it to have some surprises.

‘What we’re envisioning is that you walk into this room and you’re transported,’ the Come Into My World singer said.

‘I’ve got my work cut out for me to choose the set list and to make sure I include a few surprises as well.’
