The Tension hitmaker will take to the stage at the hugely popular BST Hyde Park on July 13 in her first appearance at the event in nine years.

She has been riding high on her recent success with Padam Padam, which saw her take home the BRIT Awards’ global icon gong and scoop up a Grammy award.

Kylie was also set to headline Australia’s popular Splendour In The Grass festival in July, but it was among a string of 2024 music events to get axed Down Under.

The festival was due to be held at the North Byron Parklands from July 19-21, but organisers confirmed it was cancelled last month, with its future looking uncertain.

Kylie was quick to react to the shock news as she took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share her devastation and promised to soon return to Australia.

She wrote: ‘SITG, this must have been a difficult decision,’ alongside a crying emoji.

‘I was so looking forward to being there and all of us having the best time. Oz, I’m looking forward, now more than ever, to be home and playing shows for you.’

Kylie is yet to confirm whether she will return to stage Down Under for another performance following Splendour In The Grass’ sudden cancellation.
