As the spectacular fallout with his The Kyle and Jackie O Show co-star Jackie 'O' Henderson continues, the KIIS FM star made some pointed comments when contestant Charlie Moon performed With a Little Help from My Friends.
'Great performance, great song choice, beautiful delivery and a great message, we all need to get by with a little help from our friends,' Sandilands said.
In heartbreaking scenes, Sandilands then appeared to refer to Henderson directly.
'This week has been tough for me. I had a falling out with a very close friend,' a sombre Kyle admitted.
Kyle then added that he 'totally enjoyed' Moon's performance.

Sandilands had been missing on recent episodes of Australian Idol, .

The radio star, 54, had not been featured in five recent audition episodes, with his absence left unexplained while 2006 runner-up Jessica Mauboy sat in Kyle's seat.
It is believed that the episodes Kyle was absent from were filmed on the evening of Friday, February 20, several hours after he had an explosive on-air clash with his co-star Jackie, which resulted in her leaving the show.
Sandilands is facing intense scrutiny over the implosion of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, but insiders say the controversial broadcaster isn't going anywhere just yet.
Sources claim the radio shock jock would normally leave Australia for his luxe LA bolthole whenever media scrutiny intensifies, but this time he's being kept firmly on home soil due to his judging role on Australian Idol.
According to industry insiders, Sandilands' contract with means travelling overseas during the current season simply isn't an option.
With live episodes of the singing competition still airing, the network is reportedly expecting the shock jock to remain in Australia and fulfil his commitments on the judging panel.

Sandilands has been suspended and given 14 days to 'remedy' the breach, or else he faces termination.
ARN provided written notice to Sandilands stating that it considers his behaviour during the show on February 20 to be 'an act of serious misconduct which is in breach of ARN's service agreement with Quasar Media.'
Meanwhile, the radio titan has ' should his $100 million contract be terminated following the collapse of KIIS FM's The Kyle & Jackie O Show, The Australian reported on Thursday.
