Giudici, 40, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a lengthy post about her eight-year-old son Isaiah Hendrix's health battle as she revealed he has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
She and Lowe, 42, famously got engaged on season 17 of The Bachelor in 2013 as they married a year later.
They share three children together including son Samuel, ten, and daughter Mia, six, along with their aforementioned brother Isaiah as they were featured in the gallery of videos and snaps posted on social media.
In the Instagram post, Giudici wrote: 'This past week has been a rough one for the Lowes.
'Our precious boy Isaiah was admitted to Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with type 1 . Our wonderful pediatrician noticed some symptoms at our annual appointment that stuck out to her.'

The reality star revealed that the child had shockingly lost 11 pounds since his last doctor's visit as he had been drinking and urinating a lot.

Giudici continued: 'Otherwise healthy and active, she ran some tests and sent us to the emergency room based on those alarming results.
This is not the only medical emergency that the Lowe family has had to endure in recent years as Giudici's husband revealed he was attacked by their family dog twice in a span of 12 hours
'I was just telling someone I don't really have PTSD. It's funny because I'm such a dog lover and I'd never thought twice about putting my face in a dog's face, but now I do think twice about doing stuff like that,' he said during a podcast appearance
'He absolutely would have killed my children or my wife for that matter. I think about that quite a bit, but for the most part, I'm doing pretty good.'

Shockingly, that wasn't the first time Lowe has been forced to rehome a dog after a chilling attack on a family member.
The incident — which left a 'pool of blood' at the Bachelor star's feet — follows another frightening dog attack from April 2023.
The dog that attacked him was the family pet, a Boxer named Moose
At the time, Lowe revealed that Gus, his family's Bullmastiff, had attacked both their daughter Mia, who was three at the time, and their son Samuel, who was six.
Gus reportedly had a history of being aggressive toward the little girl and snapping at her, before it escalated to a bite.
But it was an even more severe attack to Samuel — in which the dog bit 'him on the side of the head' — that prompted Lowe and his wife Catherine to remove it for good.
Samuel's injury resulted in a 'trip to the ER and a staple in the head,' Lowe shared on Instagram at the time, according to the Today Show. 'So, as much as I love that dog, I have to protect my kids first. But he’s in a great home, and we’ll get to see him occasionally.'
