Kirsten Dunst put on a radiant display as she cozied up to husband Jesse Plemons at the 41st Annual Film Independent Spirit Awards on Sunday in Hollywood.

The 43-year-old actress - who recently made a jab following Plemons' Oscars snub - glammed up on the red carpet alongside other celebrities such as Nina Dobrev and Kaia Gerber.
Dunst notably received a nomination for Best Supporting Performance for her role in the 2025 movie Roofman.
The mom-of-two turned heads wearing a long dress with colorful floral details printed on the flowy fabric. A thin strip of yellow material was tied around her midriff as a belt for a unique flare.
Her blonde locks were parted to the side and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in elegant waves.

Dunst opted to not add flashy pieces of jewelry to allow the ensemble to be the main focal point during the festivities which took place at The Hollywood Palladium.

A pink blush was added to her cheekbones while a nude-colored, satin tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.

Dunst flashed a cheerful smile on the red carpet alongside Plemons who dressed for the occasion in a black suit as well as a blue shirt underneath.
The lovebirds stood close together while pausing for a brief photo session upon arriving to the star-studded venue.
At one point, the actress was seen sending a loving look in her husband's direction as he wrapped his arm around her waist.
She also crossed paths with The Secret Agent actor Wagner Moura and the pair shared a friendly embrace.
Dunst took on the role of Leigh in the comedic drama Roofman - which was released last year in October.

The premise follows: 'A charismatic criminal, while on the run from the police, hides in a hidden space of a toy store. There, he adopts a new identity and becomes involved with an employee, beginning a relationship as unlikely as it is risky,' per IMDB.
The film - which is based on a true story - was directed by Derek Cianfrance, who is known for other projects such as Blue Valentine (2010) and The Light Between Oceans (2016).
Dunst reflected on her decision to take part in the movie during an interview with W Magazine.
'The director, Derek Cianfrance, gave me a little ringy-dingy and said, "Will you play this part?" And the answer was yes, immediately.'
She further explained, 'I'm a director-driven gal, for sure. That's my whole experience. I'm a part of their vision. It's all in their hands.'

The actress also voiced her interest to step behind the camera one day and direct, but said she is currently focused in raising her kids.
'I would like to direct one day, but I think it'll be so all-encompassing. I have two very young children, so I don't feel great about doing that.'
Dunst shares children Ennis, seven, and James, four, with Plemons - whom she tied the knot with in 2022.

Late last year in December, Dunst made rare comments about her kids as well as her 'wonderful husband.'
She discussed how she is more careful when it comes to selecting acting jobs, a decision that has been influenced by becoming a mother.
'I have been burnt out before, and I haven't sustained that energy of being able to have a work-life balance,' she said during the In Conversation event at the Red Sea International Film Festival.
'I also went to school, and I'd make movies, and I'd go back and forth. But now, I am in a position right now where I can wait, wait till I want to work.'

She added, 'I have two kids. I've been enjoying just being a mum and then just waiting for projects that really mean something to me.
'It's comfortable and really wonderful that I'm in a position now where I can really be very careful about what really speaks to me and what work I do.'
After welcoming her kids, Dunst added that it gave her a 'fearlessness in my acting' and she is able to now appreciate her roles more when she takes on an acting job.
'I've been very lucky that I have surrounded myself with good people, and I have a wonderful husband, and people that don't get caught up in the frivolous parts of this industry. So that's helped...'

Along with Dunst, Plemons has also been keeping busy with awards season currently in full swing.
The actor recently starred in the 2025 film Bugonia which additionally cast Emma Stone and Aidan Delbis. Yorgos Lanthimos - who has collaborated with Stone in the past - directed the black comedy thriller.
Bugonia has received four nominations at the upcoming Academy Awards including Best Picture.
Plemons also garnered a nod for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role at the Actor Awards (formerly SAG Awards) which will be held on March 1.
