Kerry Katonas Romantic Getaway Cut Short!

Kerry Katona has revealed she was left 'gutted' when her boyfriend Paolo Margaglione had to leave their romantic trip in Dubai after just 14 hours. 

The media personality, 45, and her toyboy beau, 33, jetted off to the UAE for a sun-kissed Valentine's Day trip but it was cut short when Paolo had to return to the UK for a 'work emergency'.

Kerry and Paolo partied with her close friend Katie Price and her new husband Lee Andrews while on the holiday and he had to leave just a few hours later.

Writing in her new! magazine column, Kerry explained: 'Unfortunately during the trip, Paolo had to go back to the UK for a work emergency. 

'I got to spend literally 14 hours with him before he had to leave, which meant I was left alone in Dubai, which we were both gutted about.'

According to his LinkedIn profile, Paolo is a managing director at Eco Bag UK, a company which recycles and manufactures plastic into refuse sacks for retail and wholesale. He previously worked as a personal trainer.

Kerry told how she was upset to be spending Valentine's Day alone in Dubai after Paolo's hasty exit. She ultimately left early to be reunited with him.  

'I decided to fly home early to be with him. As I write, I don't know what he's got up his sleeve, but I don't care, as long as we're together,' she wrote. 

Elsewhere in her column, Kerry told how she understands why so many celebrities are moving to Dubai and she would 'definitely consider' it herself.

She described the city as 'clean' and 'safe' and everyone there looks out for each another. 

Kate and Rio Ferdinand moved to Dubai in August and Katie Price is also said to have moved there with her husband Lee. 

The reality star found love with Paolo after meeting on Celebs Go Dating, which began filming in April.

The former Atomic Kitten star said: 'I am very happy. I don't think I have felt like this in my life.'

She had previously boasted that the pair enjoyed an 'unbelievable' sex life.

Kerry, who has endured a turbulent love life, including two divorces, introduced him to her 18-year-old daughter, Heidi, on the hit Channel 4 dating series.

The couple have gone from strength to strength since being on the programme and reportedly moved in together two months after meeting. 

During an Instagram video in September, Kerry and Paolo, who is a father of two, answered questions about their new relationship.

One of the questions said that Paolo was only with Kerry for the fame, which Kerry quickly shut down, claiming her new man is 'supportive'.

She said: 'If anything, he's been more supportive of me because I'm the one who has struggled with it more than anything.

'When people see the connection we have together and how we are, they understand it's not about anything other than that.'

Kerry was later asked about him being 12 years her junior, but admitted that it's not an issue for her.

'No, it doesn't bother me anymore, you're only as old as the man you're feeling,' she shared.
