Bardot member Katie Underwood has slammed claims she acted like a 'complete moll' backstage at the band's 25th anniversary show over the weekend. 

The Australian girl group, formed in 2000, reunited on Saturday night for the Mighty Hoopla Festival in 's Bondi Beach, with four out of the five original members performing. 

 did not join her old bandmates for the hotly anticipated one-off reunion. 

While Bardot received plenty of positive feedback following the show, Katie has revealed she received some backlash surrounding her behaviour behind the scenes. 

In a tearful Instagram video uploaded on Monday, Katie hit back at those who . 

'Since the show I've been targeted by misogynistic abuse,' she said, before explaining what really happened before the show.

While Bardot received plenty of positive feedback following the show, Katie has revealed she received some backlash surrounding her behaviour behind the scenes 

'We got backstage half an hour before we were due to go on. All I wanted was a sound check and a microphone,' she explained. 

'There were legit 50 people backstage. I could barely get in the door because it was blocked by so many people. Also, I was getting really nervous at that point, looking out seeing thousands of people, and because I f**king care, I wanted to do well.'

'Once it's online, it's bullying. Don't kid yourself,' she said, promising to block haters. 

She also warned that ongoing online attacks could affect her willingness to tour again.

'If this continues, there's no way I'm doing a tour,' she said, adding that the pressure of dealing with criticism just before such a major performance was exhausting.
