Lee, 42, was due to travel to the UK to reunite with his wife on Monday, but failed to get on a flight, later claiming he is a 'busy man' and had 'things to do' but was still on his way.
With still no sign of Lee, Katie, 47, took to her podcast for a new episode released on Thursday and told her sister Sophie that her husband's antics have turned their relationship into 'a soap opera.'
Katie insisted that Lee had told her he would be flying in for their GMB interview, and claimed that on Monday 'he was at the airport and couldn't get on the flight' because of an issue with his visa.
She said she then 'phoned the foreign office up and gave them Lee's name and date of birth and they said that they had detained a British man.'
Sophie insisted though that 'he is massively mugging you off and he has done it publicly on live TV,' to which Katie conceded: 'I said to him "You've made me look a massive d**k, you've made yourself look a massive d**k".

'It's now become a soap opera, some form of of is he coming isn't he, it's all been built up.'

'This is why I want relationships more private. But at the end of the day it is between me and him, not anyone else.'
Katie went on to say that she has told her husband 'he needs to make it to the UK because if he doesn't there is something not right going on.'
'And if he does make it it will shut up all the rumours because at the moment everyone thinks he is on a flight ban.'
'I said it does look weird that you are not coming to England and I keep coming to Dubai. I can't go to Dubai now because I have a show coming up.'
'As much as it is lovely going to Dubai he has to come here now and I said "if you come to England no one will say anything, it is the fact you keep saying you are coming and then you don't of course people are going to flag it", even I have flagged it up to him.'
'I said "Don't do that to me again to go on live TV without you and make me look stupid and a d**k", so no wonder everyone is saying you're this you're that because they have a reason to say it and I agree. What is the issue?'

'If you can't come to the UK and you are on a flight ban, it's fine, just tell me. I said if he doesn't come to the UK I want answers, just a bit of respect because it isn't fair on me, it's not fair on everyone else and I get everyone is invested in it and giving me s**t.'
'I am not disagreeing with anyone because I agree, I want answers and I have said that.'
Katie conceded:'I said to him "You've made me look a massive d**k, you've made yourself look a massive d**k"'
Sophie was firm in her stance, telling her sister 'I can't even say his name, because he winds me up, I think he is a f**king d**khead on Instagram if I am honest and I think you deserve better Kate.'
Katie insisted though that Lee's no show is the only issue in their marriage, telling her sister: 'I am not stupid, the noise I hear about he is a con artist and scam, the only thing he has done to disappoint me is not come to England when he says he is, especially when I am going on live TV and he doesn't turn up.'

'That has disappointed me because I know he has work to do. His plan is to come to England for a long time.'

He said: 'Hello everyone, yes, I'm at the airport and I'm flying to my wife, who did very well on Good Morning Britain today.
'I'm on my way to her. I had a couple of things that I had to do last-minute, couldn't make the show, I was hoping to get on there over the Zoom link, but they let Katie carry on, and she did fantastic.
'So yeah, no one was detained, I don't know where that came from. There's obviously a lot of police around the airport, cameras, everything, definitely not a wanted man.
'I can't wait to get to my wife, I'm really looking forward to seeing you Katie, I love you so much, I'm on my way to you, and sorry it got delayed. I couldn't make the show, guys, it would've been great.
'But hopefully we will be on the sofa soon. Anyway, I love you all, keep it real all of you, and don't listen to any noise.
'I'm definitely not someone who has been detained. And I'm definitely not someone that's wanted, there you go.'
The day before, Katie shared a video of Lee begging her not to lose faith in him via voicenote when he revealed he wasn't able to fly over on Monday.
As she did, Raye's song, Where Is My Husband? played and Katie noted the irony and sang along to the lyrics but said she would be patient and wait for him.
Lee's travel ban means he is not allowed to leave Dubai or enter Oman.
He is thought to be banned from leaving Dubai after allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend Dina Taji's signature to secure a £200,000 loan – something he has strongly denied.
According to Dubai law, individuals pending criminal investigations, including unpaid debts or civil lawsuits, are not legally allowed to leave the country.

The team at GMB on Tuesday said they contacted the Foreign Office to see if Lee had any travel ban when they were told he'd be a surprise 'no-show' on the breakfast show.
They said the Foreign Office responded: 'We supported a British man who was detained in the UAE.'
GMB presenter Ed Balls then questioned Katie if Lee was the man who was detained in the UAE.
She said: 'No, they just said it to me in there. I just said, "Lee apparently a British man has been detained. Can just you confirm it's not you?"
'I obviously know it's not him, so he's done a voice note back and laughing emojis. He said, "No it's not me" in a voice note. He's sent me pictures, he's now at the airport, he's on his way.'
After the show wrapped up, Lee took to his Instagram Stories to 'confirm' his whereabouts.
The Daily Mail has contacted Lee and the Foreign Office for comment.
Last month, Lee claimed he would move to the UK in May and revealed details of a second wedding.
Posting on his Instagram Stories, he shared an image of himself with Katie, which read: 'LEE ANDREWS CONFIRMS RETURN TO UK.
'With his gorgeous wife Katie to support her family and career commitments.
'The couple are stronger than ever and will make the commitment to live together this coming May. Ahead of their Winter Wedding this Year.'
Lee also posted a video of himself, where he gave fans an update on his relationship with Katie, and said: 'Life is good with us at the moment.
'We've got a lot going on and, uh, yes, we are making a good go of it in England. And then we're also going to be sort of 50 50 in Dubai, which is our problem. It's not really a problem.'
Since he married Katie in January, Lee has made a series of extraordinary claims, including that he can speak 12 languages and has worked with Kris Jenner, but these have since been proven untrue.
