Kate Hudson Stuns in Chic White Dress at BAFTAs

Kate Hudson looked elegant in a chic white dress as she attended Cartier's star-studded pre-BAFTA party in Mayfair, London on Friday night.

The American actress, 46, is nominated for a Best Leading Actress gong for her role as Claire Sardina in Song Sung Blue.

Kate couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she joined the likes of Paul Mescal, Russell Tovey, Mark Strong and Tilda Swinton at the bash.

British actress Tilda, 65, looked ageless in a black ensemble complete with a chic cream jacket.

Also in attendance was rising stars Mia McKenna-Bruce, 28, and Aled Jones' actress daughter Emilia, 23.

The starry guests departed the party with gifts from Cartier ahead of the BAFTAs on Sunday night.

Kate shared a clip of the moment she learned she had landed a BAFTA nomination for her performance.

She starred in the musical drama opposite Hugh Jackman, as real life married couple Mike and Claire Sardina, who started a Neil Diamond cover band in 1990s Milwaukee.

Taking to her Instagram to voice her gratitude and joy, Kate shared hilarious footage of her getting the news of her nod, while sat down at a restaurant.

The clip showed the Bride Wars star squealing in shock and repeatedly exclaiming 'Oh my God!' as she leapt to her feet and raced out of the dining room to answer her phone.

While in the caption, she shared her thanks to BAFTA and explained that the nomination felt like 'a love letter', because she and her family had always seen England as a 'real home'.

Kate penned: 'BAFTA! Thank you! I am so honored to be nominated ❤️ England has always been a real home for me and my family so this nomination feels like a love letter back to a place that’s given us so much. See you soon London Town.'

Alongside, the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star posted a slew of throwback snaps of her children exploring the capital.

Kate is mum to son Ryder, 21, with ex-husband and Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, son Bingham, 14, with ex-fiance and Muse singer Matt Bellamy, and daughter Rani, seven, with her current fiance Danny Fujikawa.
