Glamorous  and Teyana Taylor led the star parade at the Costume Designers Guild Awards on Thursday evening.

The two actors, who are both nominated for awards at the upcoming  ceremony for their latest films, turned up the glamour in bright and bold looks.

The annual event was held at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in on Thursday evening to recognize the outstanding achievements in costume design in film and television. 

Many glamorous stylists and artists took the opportunity to showcase their personal style as they posed in front of the cameras.

There were also stars who skipped the red carpet moment — such as singer-songwriter and filmmaker  — but later took the stage to present awards to the honorees. 

The many award winners of the night included the costume designers who worked on films: One Battle After Another, Frankenstein and Wicked: For Good.

She also paired her bright purple gown with a brown, fur coat slung over her shoulders like a cape

Costume designers working in television were recognized as well when with award winners including the artists behind The Studio, Palm Royale and Andor. 

The ceremony was hosted by actress Courtney Hope, and the evening saw a number of special honorees as well.

Veteran costume designer Michelle Cole received the Career Achievement Award.

James Cameron was presented with the Distinguished Collaborator Award.

The Spotlight Award was received by Hudson, 46, and Taylor, 35, was honored with the Vanguard Spotlight Award.

For the special occasion, Hudson looked ethereal in a lilac purple, silk gown with asymmetrical draping for a stunning effect of the sheeny fabric cascading down her legs.

The Song Sung Blue star, who is in the running for the best actress Academy Award for her performance in the film, paired a silver, diamond-encrusted statement necklace to go with her glamorous garb.

Later, she was seen wearing a light brown, fur jacket over her shoulders for warmth and to jazz up her look even more.

She styled her freshly cropped, collarbone-length hair in a straight style with a sharp middle part.

To match the vibrant color of her dress, she went for light purple eyeshadow paired with pink blush and a matte lip

She added black strappy heels to the look

Kate put on a typically glamorous display

She wore a couture piece with a structural, semi-sheer bodice and a long, silk skirt with a train trailing behind her

The One Battle After Another star, who earned her first Oscar nomination in the best supporting actress category for her breakout performance, had stylists assisting her with the train on her dress on the red carpet to show off her look

The dress highlighted her hourglass figure with its stunning mermaid-tail design

The top of her dress, which appeared to be backless, also showed off major side boob. The star put on a sultry display with dark makeup featuring a smoky, cat-eye look

She later accepted the Vanguard Spotlight Award

While Kate added glasses as she read her part

And put on an animated display

For makeup, she matched her dress with a light purple eyeshadow paired with rosy cheeks and a matte pink lip to complete her look.

Oksana Nedavniaya, who was nominated twice in the same category of Excellence in Costume Illustration, shimmered and sparkled in a long-sleeved dress bedazzled with sparkly gemstones

Jennifer Johnson, who was nominated in the Excellence in Contemporary Film category for her work in Bugonia, went for a classic, all-black outfit with many interesting details to elevate her look

She walked the red carpet in a cream, Victorian-inspired blouse tucked into high-waisted silk pants. 

Her statement piece was the gold pendant on her neck, which she matched to other subtle gold details of her outfit. 

Oksana Nedavniaya was nominated twice in the same category of Excellence in Costume Illustration. 

She was recognized for her work in both Palm Royale and Weapons. 

The artist shimmered and sparkled in a long-sleeved dress bedazzled with sparkly gemstones.

She topped off her look with a clutch purse with a colorful peacock design made out of rhinestones. 

Jennifer Johnson was nominated in the Excellence in Contemporary Film category for her work in Bugonia.

She modeled a classic, all-black outfit with many interesting details to elevate her look.

There were gold-painted designs on her structural, hip-defining dress, and she further accessorized with sheer opera gloves and chunky bracelets on top.

Sharon Gilham was nominated in the Excellence in Sci-Fi/Fantasy Television category for her work in The Wheel of Time, specifically the episode titled He Who Comes With The Dawn. 

For the occasion, she wore a bright red, velvet suit paired with a matching hat and a purple dress shirt as she posed on the red carpet alongside John Sullivan, who opted for a classic, all-black tuxedo.
